Le Mans » Peugeot ends 908 programme

"A lesson to those who think that motor racing (e.g. F1) should be unrestricted (in both financial and technological terms) and irrelevant to road car technology." If you think Le Mans is unrestricted and irrelevant to road car technology you are spectecularly ignorant. The whole purpose of this race was originally for factories to show how strong their equipment was. That might have changed over the years but sportscars are still far more relevant to road cars than F1 ever hopes to be.

F1 » F1 2011 POLL: Was DRS a success?

It could do with a bit of tweaking, but for being introduced just this year I think it did well. In Brazil for example it didn't allow the drivers to just breeze pas each other but it got them a lot closer for the following corners. That move Alonso put on Button would never have been possible without DRS. So yeah, I think the DRS zones should be a little shorter. Other than that, I like it.
