A rookie with a new bike, team, tires, tracks and breaks a record for poles and wins the championship is worthy of a 1 pt differential? Sheesh ... I can't think of what else would merit 2 pts.

Nice kid but I'm afraid his time with the factory team is limited. He just is not showing enough regular flashes of brilliance. And most damning is that Dani is running as part of the Pack of 4 and Dovi isn't. He'll have even more competition with the newest 250 graduates and Spies coming on board. This year was his opportunity to try and shine and it didn't happen.

While I watch Rossi, I never think that he's close to binning it. He's very smooth and really doesn't have big crashes. With his current competitors, I can't say the same thing. With Lorenzo, Dani and to lesser extent Stoner, I often get the feeling that they're on the brink of playing skipping stone. I find Spies control is much in line with Rossi's. Spies may very well have what it takes. I hope so. I'd rather be talking about 5 aliens next year rather than 4.

So it didn't work out. At the end of the day, James was part of an elite group of racers that many others will never have the opportunity or privilege with participating in. That's something James will always have with him. He'll do well in SB but let's give him a break. The WSB paddock will have lots of talent so it's not a given he can just waltz back in an win a Title.

Excellent way for Dani and Honda to end the season. Salvaging 3rd is a very good description of the final standings for Honda. We have 4 racers who are in a league of their own. They tend to finish 30 seconds ahead of the 'rest'. I agree with gregin8er and Bradnews. I'd like to see Dani mixing it up a little. Also, Dovi and Honda can't be pleased about losing out to Spies today. So Honda is in a tough spot like Sick Cylinder says. It's not like they can just think about dumping Dani. He's currently 1 of the 4 best out there right now. Today, he was the best of the 4.

I don't know enough about the politics in the Yam Garage. Who can help? Do the bikes get developed independently by each Rider or does the input from Rossi take precedence because he's the Number 1 Rider in the Garage?

I expect Rossi to come out with no holds barred for this race. He's the WC and it doesn't matter if he bins it. So he can go after a win and be 1 more closer to Ago's record. I believe his intent will be to try and absolutely crush the field and Stoner in particular. Dani will finish ahead of Stoner only if Stoner crashes trying to catch or stay ahead of Rossi.

1050cc ... Thxs for taking the time to post the clip on YouTube. Tardozzi is definitely upset. It's difficult to determine if he's upset with Duc losing the Title and-or with Fab. Would really hope an Italian lip reader would do some investigative work for us.
