Hey Nori fan
Let's be clear.
Spies had 25 pts stolen from by the famous Fab torpedo.
Hagi lost 10 pts to Fab.
Case 1: Spies stolen pts were out of his control.
Case 2: Nori lost his pts because he couldn't keep up to his teammate. Well within his control .. just race harder if want to be Champ and not have pts gift wrapped.
Suck it up. Spies by far deserves this Title.

Indianapolis Grand Prix - Preview.
We just may have the luxury to see another very good race between Rossi and Lorenzo. Lorenzo certainly has incentive just coming off the deal with Yamaha.

Lorenzo thanks Yamaha - and Ducati.
1 agrees.
6 disagree.
Let's not be too critical of Lorenzo. He has done exactly as he should have. Negotiate for the best deal. With Stoner currently out of the picture, he is clearly the 2nd best racer out there and he used this to his advantage. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this. Lorenzo knows all about loyalty. Teams easily have a rider fall out of favour. Ask Vermeulen, Elias and de Angelis. Ask Hayden and Stoner. They know one or both may have been tossed if Lorenzo came onboard. Ask just about any rider about Aleix Espargaro coming out of the blue

Pedrosa: We’ll be closer to Yamaha at Indy.
1 agrees.
Dani has races where he looks absolutely brilliant. This then gets tempered with races where he looks mediocre. Time for Dani to step-up and show Honda that he can regularly mix it up with Rossi and Lorenzo.

Have fun this weekend. Watch your back. I suspect Kallio will attempt anything to finish ahead of you.

Jorge Lorenzo signs new Yamaha contract.
4 agree.
Rossi won’t leave MotoGP until he beats Ago's win record. I would believe Rossi would stick with Yamaha because he has a good bike, good team and probably most important is that they respect each other. So if Lorenzo wants to be Number 1 it won't be with Yamaha in 2011.

Schwantz: Sky the limit for Spies.
3 agree.
Mention Spies and MotoGP in the same sentence and there’s more buzzin' than a disturbed hornets nest. You would think that everybody would welcome the possibility that maybe, just maybe, this kid can make the MotoGP jump and be in contention. That would add 1 more guy battling for wins. Isn't that we want as fans? It isn't a given that Spies can make the jump but his performance certainly seems to give key indications that he can.

WSS: Crutchlow: I'd prefer a 43-point lead...

Losing pts due to bike failure. It's always frustrating for the racers. This is an unfortunate aspect that all racers have to contend with. 25 pts at this stage of the season is big. Cal will just have keep up the good work and get those pts back. Also unfortunate for Cal, should he lose the championship by less than 25pts, the Title Trophy with Laverty's name on it, won't have little asterisk that provides the history and reads 'thxs given to Yamaha for the bike failure at Brno'.

Vermeulen 'has left Suzuki'
2 agree.

A MotoGP Bike is different from a WSBK Bike and different from a Moto250 Bike. Doing well in WSBK doesn’t necessarily equate to doing well in MotoGP. Doing well in Moto250 doesn’t necessarily equate to doing well in MotoGP. And equally important, doing well in MotoGP doesn’t necessarily equate to doing well in WSBK. It takes a very special breed to be able to dominate in both MotoGP and WSBK.

Lorenzo's MotoGP future still undecided
3 agree.
We really don't know the politics in the Yamaha paddock. Maybe Rossi and Lorenzo (now) hate each other. Maybe Lorenzo is feeling very undervalued and unappreciated at Yamaha under Rossi’s shadow. Maybe Lorenzo is thinking '&uck it, I don't need this BS'. Now that Stoner isn't here, Lorenzo is the only one who can challenge Rossi. Ducati knows this so why not make an offer to Lorenzo that would be hard to refuse. It's readily apparent that Ducati wants to win the championship so Lorenzo will be on a team with ambition. ... low earth orbit ... That made me really laugh. I needed that.

Aleix Espargaro - career to date.
Holes .. very good and interesting posts. .. won't mix top 3 regularly... At the beginning of the year I would have fully agreed with this. After his performance this year I'm hesitant to agree. As a follower of the AMA I knew he would do well at WSBK but would not have expected him to be in contention for the title in his first year. But I'm not surprised. I now believe he certainly has the talent to mix it up with the top Moto guys as a minimum and he may have the talent to win. Lets just say I'm certainly hoping he has the talent because it's always better to have a few guys being able to win rather than just repeating the Rossi/Lorenzo monolog. We'll see what happens
