RECOMMENDED COMMENT

9 disagree.
Hey Nori fan
Let's be clear.
Spies had 25 pts stolen from by the famous Fab torpedo.
Hagi lost 10 pts to Fab.
Case 1: Spies stolen pts were out of his control.
Case 2: Nori lost his pts because he couldn't keep up to his teammate. Well within his control .. just race harder if want to be Champ and not have pts gift wrapped.
Suck it up. Spies by far deserves this Title.

Fabrizio boosted by early pace
2 agree.
It was a good day for Fabrizio. It's great to see his performance & confidence increase. Should be another excellent Sunday of Racing. He even complimented Haga too! :"every time I was pushing on a fast lap, I would find someone in front of me, the only rider I didn't find was Nori!"

Spies straight to the top at Misano
Spies performance must send a cold shiver down the spine of every other team in the paddock. A Rookie at most tracks yet he has more Poles and Wins after 1/2 season than most other Riders will ever achieve in a lifetime.

Fabrizio denies Spies for provisional pole
2 agree.
Let's give Fabrizio some credit. It was his day today and he did well. His message is Haga is not the only Xerox Ducati at the track. He'll want to beat Haga for sure. And to Spies: He's going to give him a run. And Spies message in return: 1st time at track & 2nd place in provisional by .086

Haslam beats Spies as biggest shock so far
I am surprised that this season is actually as interesting as all the hype was predicting at the beginning of the year.

Spies 'excited' about Misano challenge
The Team & Fans really appear to have made Spies totally comfortable and 'at home'. Excellent support by the Italians! We will all benefit from what should be an thrilling 2nd half of the season.

Hopkins taking it 'step-by-step' on return
2 agree.
I are a idoit and eat puppies and then kittens for a Aperitif. Hopkins is very good but certainly not the best to come out of the USA. I'm glad to see him back and hope that he stays on the good side of the limit so that he can continue to get healthy.

Fabrizio aiming to end poor Misano record.
1 agrees.
Fabrizio is doing well this year. This is good to see. Making a push for the pts lead isn't too far fetched so I would expect Fab to put his head down and go for it. I agree he'll push Haga along but may be able to beat Haga for the next few races. Haga may decide that the best strategy for the next few races is to intially give it a go but not push to his limit and see if Fabrizio and/or Spies bin it. Fab & Spies need to win & Haga doesn't right now. Haga will need to listen to his head & not his heart.

Pedrosa shrugs off latest crash.
2 agree.
I suspect that Dani beleives he doesn't have a choice. He's the #1 Honda factory rider sitting in 4th place (57 pts) and behind Stoner by 33 pts. Dani's team mate, Dovizioso, is in 5th place with 56 pts. We all know that at the end of the day, there's 1 person you must beat and that's your team mate. So with only 1 pt between them, Dani is going to race come hell or high water. Let's hope that he can make it through the next few qualifiers & races without any crashes that further injure himself. These guys have amazing drive.

Dovizioso 'could be very competitive'.
1 agrees.
I fully expect to see Dov give it a go to win this race. It'll be tough as the front runner odds are on Rossi/Lorenzo but Dov is one of the guys who can get the job done.

Catalunya set for Lorenzo, Rossi showdown.
1 agrees.
This is great. There's a handful of guys who can win this race. I can't wait for the race (the only bad thing is Monday's around the corner - crap!). Don't write Stoner off just yet. I believe he'll put up a good battle. I also expect to see Rossi on top of the box. Here's hoping for many lead changes.
