Lorenzo has a challenge tomorrow. That 0.001 could be huge. Dani normally gets off the line much better than Lorenzo. If Stoner and Rossi get off well and Lorenzo has difficulty getting around Dani (if ever) then that 18 point gap will be moving in the wrong direction .... well, from Lorenzo's point of view anyway.

I really don't give a rat's a55 why he took the sabbatical. I'm thrilled he's back and the grid's no doubt better with his presence.

Rossi has two goals so what he is saying makes perfect sense. He wants to win the Title and he wants to eventually surpass Ago's win total. The only way to do that is by winning the race. Rossi will absolutely fight for the win but be sensible enough not to bin it. I believe Rossi and Stoner are looking forward to this race and Lorenzo is having second thoughts. Thankfully Stoner is back. He adds much talent to the grid and we'll probably be assured of some racing. Lorenzo's weekend hasn't gone to plan so far and he could end-up stuck behind Dani for awhile especially since Dani's launches are typically the best on the grid. Lorenzo seems to have some difficulty passing Dani.

Hey El Bigonio.... you would have to add Toseland and Stoner too. Then the bashing would really get this off topic in the typical fashion. Back to Lorenzo. Yamaha has all but statistically wrapped up 1st and 2nd. So I expect no interference from Yamaha. What a team. Yamaha has the best duo in Rossi and Lorenzo in their employ. Of course Lorenzo is going to try and get the Title and give Rossi a run. We should all be happy that there is still a battle for the Title. I thoroughly look forward to the next races and hope they are nail biters like some of the shows that Rossi and Lorenzo have provided us.

It's always the bike. The classic example is when Biaggi was citing his underperforming Yam was the reason he couldn't beat Rossi. We then had the Biaggi & Rossi swap of Honda and Yam and we all know Vali took another Title on the crappy Yam bike. Oh wait, since Rossi won, it must because that year the Yam was good and the Honda was crappy. Poor Max. Wrong year to swap manufacturers I guess. I believe Rossi and Lorenzo are in a different league talent wise compared to Dani and Dovi. I also believe that if the pairs swapped manufacturers, Rossi and Lorenzo would again be battling for the Title, except on Hondas.
