Hey Nori fan

Let's be clear.

Spies had 25 pts stolen from by the famous Fab torpedo.

Hagi lost 10 pts to Fab.

Case 1: Spies stolen pts were out of his control.
Case 2: Nori lost his pts because he couldn't keep up to his teammate. Well within his control .. just race harder if want to be Champ and not have pts gift wrapped.

Suck it up. Spies by far deserves this Title.

Darkwaknight -oo funny. So having Fab take 5 pts from Nori and probably have taken 25 from Ben is equal. And pressure? C'mon. The Ducs were clearly, let me say that again, clearly, a superior bike out there today.

@ josh - did you watch the race or just look at the standings? Typical Marco btw. Bin in race 1. Do very well the next race although leaving a train wreck behind. He clearly caused Max to stand up mid corner and then run wide and then Max almost took out Spies. That would have been nice, right? Have Marco come in for sh1ts and giggles and almost totally fuk the championship. Remember, your hero had nothing to lose. This clearly showed today so the WSBK guys have nothing to fear with this MotoGP kid.

@ K1ngs row - We need a little extra time in North America to watch the races. It wasn't televised until 5:00 pm today -eastern time. Of course other obligations prevented me from watching the race until later than that. Why be so nasty? It wasn't Yamaha’s day. Clearly the Duc and Aprilia were working far better. So Spies collected whatever pts he could and called it a day. It was an excellent day for Ducati. Haga and Fab looked unstoppable today. Bryne did very well today too. Good outing for all Ducati. I was very upset with Rea today. I like this guy but he is riding like a major A-hole.

Why we're concerned is because Marco will want to prove himself to the WSBK paddock. He will therefore attempt to place well and push hard to get the good placement. Also, it's a hometown race. The concern is that he can afford to push and ride near the limit. What happens along that narrow limit edge? Crashes. If he crashes there's no impact on his WSBk (obviously as it's his 1st race)standings. He's got nothing to lose by pushing. Our concern is that by pushing he may in fact wipe out and if he takes Haga, Spies Fab and-or Rea with him then this could impact the final WSBK standings. That wouldn't be fair to any of these guys when Marco's in it basically for sh1ts and giggles.

@ Glad I thought of it I thought the same thing when I read Dawg's post. And @ Fuera - exactly. We want to see racing and not parades. Rossi is exciting to watch but more often than not he checks out and we get to watch the guys circulate with significat gaps between each of them.

Fab, Spies, Rea & Haga on the front row. Awesome. I hope this race ends up being as good as it seems it's going to be. Rea is giving us some very impressive outings. Bring on Sunday even though it's one day closer to Monday!

It's been an excellent season. 6 Races to go and the Title is not yet determined. There are a number of guys out there that can win these races. That's exactly what the paddock should be like. Congrats to Fab. Getting his 1st Pole on a Duc in Italy is perfect.

This race is setting-up to be a thriller. Haga does have to put his head down but if it's not going as well as he expects then he needs to back off and not crash. Anything can happen with 6 races to go. There's no need to blow it in turn one trying to get the hole shot. The goal is to collect pts. Winning is very nice and important but finishing is also very important. I hope it's clean race for all the front runners and we aren't in a position to discuss any T-boning come Sunday evening.

At the beginning of the season Spies' bike was not the best. The first race didn't go well because Max drove him off course. Spies wins race 2 and if I remember correctly had Superpole. Spies: New bike, team, track. Same as Marco this weekend. My point is anytime Spies is mentioned about going to MotoGp the general response is he'll get his A55 handed to him. Maybe - we'll see. Well, Marco is going to MotoGP. So by logical extension I would expect Marco to kick a55 this weekend.
