MotoGP » Ben Spies hoping for 'stronger' Sepang II

With the information that Honda also has a 90 degree 4 should mean that there is no reason to expect sub-par performance from the bike. But Ducati has second tier rides at best so there is no way they are going to challenge for the lead. Best they can hope for is making a splash in performing above expectations but given the caliper of factory Yam and Honda riders, they are stymied for advancement. Spies has already had his shot and fallen way short. Likewise . Dovie has had his shot. Unless Ducati can assemble a killer bike (unlikely) I see them doing well to figure in the top 6 regularly.

MotoGP » Ben Spies 'excited' to join Ducati family

Ben is now saying he will be only at 80% efficiency for the March test so he is only going to cruise around. That's been his problem throughout his MotoGP career. He took it easy in his last race to get out of the spray of the other riders and then decided to put in a few fast laps for bragging rights and busted it with serious injuries. No, Ben you need to push hard every second or you will always be a second rater.
