F1 » Rosberg seeks answers for Hamilton defiance

Misleading headline (again)... Rosberg never said he'd sit down with the team and discuss why Hamilton ignored team orders. He was never that specific. For the record I don't have a problem with Hamilton not letting Nico by. At some point he had to think for himself and Rosberg was never close enough that Hamilton wouldn't have lost severely by letting him through. It was probably at a cost to the Constructor's Championship but you have to think Mercedes are quite safe out front. At the same time, I don't think Nico was "whining" as others have put it. If you read the article as well as watched his post race interview (and you know, the race!) you'd know it was the team who lead him to believe Lewis would get out the way, so when it didn't happen he responded the way most of us would have. Was humble enough in defeat not to mention more annoyed he couldn't make the move stick (reckon he knew he was on the wrong side of Lewis going into Turn 2).

F1 » Mercedes fire knocks Hamilton out of Q1

Understeer: Merc are so far ahead in the constructors championship that it matters not whether they have a DNF that is mainly Lewis Hamilton every other race......they are assured of getting a minimum of 25 points every......and the average points collected by other teams are below 20.......this clearly shows an advantage for here goes your point about not wanting to jeopardise the constructors championship........I once more call for the FIA to do was done with Alonzo and Hamilton in 2007.......
How does it take away my point? What idiot would take that sort of a risk? What if Rosberg started having some failures too? No team would be so stupid as to legitimately sabotage one of their own cars just so the other driver can win.

F1 » Mercedes fire knocks Hamilton out of Q1

Judging by the weighting of the agrees/disagrees it appears the Hamilton conspiracy theorists are out in full force. I get that the guy has had a bad run of luck recently but any common sense should tell you Mercedes are not deliberately screwing up Hamilton's car. With the money he costs, as well as the money Mercedes gain from winning the Constructor's Championship how is it a good business decision to tamper with the guy's car?

F1 » Lotus confirms Maldonado for 2015

@sprulz, well you could be right about Grosjean to McLaren. Shame because Button would hardly deserve the sack but you do get the feeling Dennis is waiting for an opportunity to let him go and realistically Grosjean would be the best available alternative. I'd imagine if there was a seat available at Lotus though it'd go to someone like Sutil, undeservedly, but Lotus will probably need all the money they can get.

F1 » Rosberg on pole after Hamilton shunt

@George, it's already started on the Sky Sports F1 page on facebook. People claiming conspiracy and all that bull. Hamilton's interview just now was irritating as well saying Nico got "another gift". So what was that Rosberg failure last race then? I get that Hamilton has had less of the rub of the green but the dude has way too much of a 'me vs. the world' attitude. Having said that glad he's not hurt. Big shunt.

Le Mans » Fisichella: Ferrari LMP1 would be a dream

theoldgitspeaks: What makes him think he's likely to be offered a drive, there are plenty of very experienced sports car drivers out there as well as F1 drivers and it is unlikely this will happen anytime soon anyway. Ferrari might like to do it but at the moment they are just playing politics to try and get some favourable (TO THEM) changes in F1.
Dude just won Le Mans for them. That's what might make him think he'd get a shot...
