MotoGP » Rossi: Like Ron Haslam at the start!

I thought that this was going to be the race where Marcs run of wins may come to an end. It looked like Val was going to be the man to do it too but it just wasnt to be. There is an inexorability about the way Marc just picks people off one at a time.He is simply relentless in his determination to demoralise and destroy the field. There just seems to be no answer to him barring injury. I for one think that he can definately win every race this season. That would be something to see. Good effort from Val though.

Been a while since i have been here and i see nothing much has changed. Young Marquez is still running riot. Can anyone do anything to stop him i wonder. Good to see Andrea give the Ducati a sound thrashing around the track to claim 2nd spot on the grid.Would like to see him do well tomorrow. Also,Jorge putting in a good time.He needs to think positive after a poor first half to the season.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez could spend his career at Honda

TrueFan. I understand what you are saying. I am simply pointing out that Dani has had a fair old bite at the Honda cherry without bringing home the silverwear and i am wondering how long this will continue before Honda may start to look for a different rider with fresh input. Dani is a great rider and i am not in any way having a dig at him.I would love to see him win a championship title, but i get the feeling that it somehow isnt going to happen. I hope he proves me wrong.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Soft tyre better for our bike

I have to say that i am becoming more and more disillusioned with Motogp. It is only getting more and more obvious that the top guys have a monstrous advantage which is nullifying the point of having other riders on the grid. Every week we know that one of only 4 guys is going to have any possible chance of victory, out of a grid of 24! Can you imagine how frustrating it must be for 83% of the riders to line up on a starting grid knowing that you have absolutely zero chance of ever winning a race. I know the factory guys are the best riders but they have a tremendous technological edge over everyone else that is turning the sport into a farce.

I cant see any reason for Marc and Honda to part company any time soon. They are a perfect combination. Will Dani still be his team mate in the future? I dont know.He is a good anchor man and point scorer, but 9 years on a factory Honda with no championship trophy may temp Honda to look somewhere else when the contracts are up for renewal. We will have to wait and see.

MotoGP » Marquez: I don’t know why I felt so good!

Huskymick:
hoppy: Marquez: I don’t know why I felt so good! During the race i swear i could hear a little scratching sound in the background. The Mrs said it could be the engraver writing Marcs name on the trophy! I think she could be right you know.
It's not over until it's over. Back in 1992 Doohan won the first 5 races and then broke his leg. I'm a Marc fan and would love to see him do it again, but I don't speak about it yet.
.. It is my opinion that injury is the only thing that will stop Marc lifting the title again this year. Noone seems to have an answer for him on track. If he stays injury free,i cant see him being beaten to the title. He has gelled with that bike perfectly and is in a league of his own at the moment.
