MotoGP » Stoner ‘getting comfortable’, back tomorrow

“We don't really want to overcomplicate things, and the [race] riders want to do their testing with it first. Maybe I'll get an opportunity in the future, but it's better just for me to get accustomed with everything, start to learn a little bit of the progression, and when we find where we want to be with the GP15 - not necessarily where the limit is but can feel we can't go too much further - then maybe we will progress to the next version, and see how it works. But there's a lot of time between now and then.” ...Casey Stoner. Very honest and open appraisal of where he fits in to the plan of things I reckon.

MotoGP » Stoner ‘getting comfortable’, back tomorrow

I really cant see Jorge riding the Ducati. Why would he want to move from Yamaha when he has had so much success with them? Val did a few years back and soon regretted it,so I would be amazed to see Jorge go down the same avenue. Dani? Not so sure.He has had a very big bite at the Honda cherry without lifting the trophy for his efforts. If he doesnt bring home the silverware soon, you have to wonder how long he will keep his seat.? I hope he wins this year and saves himself the task of trying to tame the Big Red Witch!

MotoGP » Stoner: 2016 MotoGP electronics ‘still very advanced’

Motojunky: 1ST day back on the Duke and already opinionated on what should be done with the ECU's.
Not so much an opinionated quote Motojunky. More of an educated opinion of the situation as he sees it from the riders saddle. After all, he is the only rider ever to give Ducati a MotoGP World Championship trophy. Dont you think Ducati would be interested in his opinion? I would be if I were in charge.

MotoGP » Stoner: 2016 MotoGP electronics ‘still very advanced’

DontTesttheX: Thing with Marquez is he is a computer game kid, ie Crash and start again. When the electronics are not saving a rider on the limit in every corner he is going to realise what motogp riding is all about...
I know where you are coming from mate, but its horses for courses. Some riders came to the fore before the electronics came in. Others have come to the fore since then. Its a case of not being able to uninvent technology. The modern kids of today grew up with Play Stations and I phones, whereas people like myself grew up with 4 tv stations and socket sets! Know what i mean? That doesnt mean that they are not skilled riders. As i have said before,I would love to remove the electronics to see who would excell and who would fail. But I would not expect the old school to run away with things.
