MotoGP » Rossi outlines 2014 targets at Yamaha launch

Codger. I think it is fair to say that the Ducati didnt stay the same during the time Casey rode it,but it certainly didnt get the investment that Honda and Yamaha put in to their bikes. And i think it is for this reason that Caseys results went down over the 4 years he was there. They didnt improve the bike as much as Honda and Yamaha improved theirs.Yamaha and Honda simply caught up. Ducati were left behind by the Japanese manufacturers which is not that surprising when you look at the difference in the budgets they have. As to whether Casey would end up in hospital if he tried to ride todays Ducati is pure conjecture and we will never know. Personally i believe he would surprise a few people, just as he did during the 4 years he rode for them.

MotoGP » Rossi outlines 2014 targets at Yamaha launch

Difference between Rossi and Stoner on Ducati is not that big like you guys say... Guna. Come on mate,i appreciate that Val is your favourite and thats fair enough, but to suggest that Vals efforts on the Ducati arent that different from those of Casey is quite ludicrous. Val never won a race on the Ducati or even came close to winning one. Casey won 23 races and loads of other podiums and track records. There is no comparison between their results. Not taking anything away from Vals other achievements though. He has been a worthy champion over the years.

MotoGP » Crutchlow unsurprised by Lorenzo Ducati link

SLSMER. With the greatest of respect to Val,i dont think he intimidates people any more to be honest. Jorge is more than a match for him and is more concerned about Marc than Val. Having said that,i hope Val does gel better with his bike this season. Its always enjoyable when he is in the mix. But we will have to wait and see. People need to be careful though about making bold predictions about what Val is going to do this season. The last few seasons have shown that such predictions can easily blow up in peoples faces.

MotoGP » Lorenzo dismisses Ducati MotoGP rumours

Lighter always wins? Tell that to Dani. He has no premier titles despite being the weight of an ants eye lash! As regards the Jorge/Ducati rumour.i would say it is complete nonsense. I cannot see any possible reason why he would want to ditch a bike he is consistantly winning races on to go and ride one that is a pig on wheels. I know people will say he may go for the money, but Jorge isnt exactly strapped for cash now is he? It would be career suicide in my opinion.
