MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director explains Rossi punishment

I am amazed at how desperate some people are to try to turn the heat away from Val and on to Marc. Marc didnt infringe any rules and yet the clowns here are calling for him to be penalised. So in effect what you now want to see are riders getting penalty points for NOT breaking the rules! It defies belief! Race direction believe that Vals move to put Marc off the track were intentional. That in my book should have been instant DQ. Yet he hasnt had a single one of his 16 points deducted. What people need to remember is that it was Val who started the ball rolling with his personal attacks on Marc during that circus of a press meeting on Thursday. After what he said about Marc, did you expect Marc not to come out guns blazing? He pulled some tough moves on Val yes,but has Val not done the same to others many MANY times in his career? Then you call it REAL RACING. But when others mix it up with Val,you call it dangerous. Hypocritical to say the least. A sad day for racing indeed.

RacingExpert: Even a blind can see that Marquez is sticking his nose in Valentino business from PI. Marquez is worst human being I ever seen. A Gay Cost the title to the legend. Hope Marquez RIP in Valencia.

MotoGP » Marquez: Rossi is out of control

Urk:
hoppy: Going by the rule book, he is completely clear, but there is something called spirit of racing, he clearly breached it....Guna4699. So what about the spirit Val showed in the press meeting on thursday when he launched his personal attack on Marc? That was different was it?
Well, VR turns out to have been completely accurate in his accurate. MM is indeed just using spoiling tactics specifically against VR.
How was Marc using spoiling tactics? I saw him nearly lose the rear on 3 occasions during that battle with Val,and Val himself nearly lost the front twice. So lets stop the b*llocks that Marc was trying to slow things down. The two of them were not holding back..The point is,neither of them had the pace of Dani and Jorge and found themselves in a battle for third that Val didnt want. Tough luck. This is racing Val,just as you once said to Casey Stoner,or have you forgotten. Letting you temper get to you and deliberately

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

I cant believe Val has stooped to this. He brought this on himself with his wise cracks and accusations on Thursday. He had absolutely no evidence to back up his claims and had no justification in saying the things he said. Now it has backfired on him just as his ITS JORGE OR ME comment did a few years ago. If Val loses the title this year.he will have only himself to blame. Sticking his claws into Marc is a sign of desperation i never thought i would see from a man of his calibre. We were heading for a tremendous end to the season until Val went to that press meeting and opened a Pandoras Box. I bet he wishes he had kept his opinions to himself now. Season ruined for me i have to say.

MotoGP » Marquez: Rossi is out of control

Rossi was responding to a bully (he is human after all). He didn't INSTIGATE this......Realist. Bully????? Do you think it was ok for Val to run Marc off the track? That was the only bullying i saw. And as for who was the instigator of this weekends controversy? The guy who went into the press meeting and without any provocation whatsoever, launched a personal attack on Marc which was completely uncalled for. Val really needs to pack in these childish mindgames of his, because they could well have cost him the title this year.

MotoGP » Drama as Rossi takes down Marquez!

Neal: There is no way logically you can penalize Rossi because he did a move that is done hundreds of time a race, a simple block pass. Getting in front of a riders line and slowing them down to get ahead. The reason Marc crashed was he wasn't expect Rossi to do that at that point in the race and ran into him. Oh, and shame on this website for propagating the Rossi kick story, marc hit Rossi's leg with his helmet from behind causing it to move.
Mate, you were obviously watching a different race to everyone else. How the hell was it a bloc pass? Val slowed right down and was looking over his left shoulder to find Marc. Why would you be looking left whilst going around a right hand bend? He deliberately ran Marc wide whilst looking at him the shoved him off with his left knee. i wish you guys would stop trying to blame this on Marc when it was clearly a deliberate move pulled by Val. You are trying to defend the in defensible.
