F1 » Heavy rain forces qualifying postponement

Some very stupid comments from the EXPERTS on this site. Please read Jenson Buttons comments about the conditions.Safety will always come before the fans interest. ......Why bother having wet tyres when you can't race in the wet any more?..... You really have to wonder about comments like this.I would rather wait and have all the drivers racing than some poor guy in hospital .

F1 » Schumacher: Gap to front too big

@ simon- I must agree with you that Gilles was a little bit crazie but did you ever see him drive,I think not.Yes he was reckless, but as I said before he was a genius,I saw him on many occasions and if you had seen him at the Glen in 79 - Fri Practice - you would have seen the greatest wet weather driving that has ever been seen.Death Wish no way.Crazie yes for sure.

F1 » Runners-up joy for Alonso on home turf

@ 107SS2009 I if you think Silverstone was bad for Ayrton you should have been at Malory between 81-83,it was quite simply pure hatred and I have to include drivers in that contingent, one is still today very involved in F1.I have visited most tracks to watch GP racing over a 35 year period and the UK is still the worst place for so called fans to vent there anger at non British drivers. I know the Italians could show some venom towards other drivers but this was mostly generated by the Italian press.Going back to Ayrton he also had the very large contingent of the British motoring press who were so happy to stick knives in him.Hamilton gets nothing compared to A.S. and with no internet then.

F1 » Hamilton: 'Hungry' McLaren 'firing on all cylinders'

Hey Happy Jack I have been pushing the site for a couple of months now,it is simply superb. Its so good to see others using it.I use it for all my F1 news and look at this site less and less. When Crash first started it really was a very good site with good topics but alas it has gone down hill very quickly in the last year with stories that are only fit for the people that they are aimed at. There publication "Autocourse" has gone the same way,it is now just a glossy comic pushed at the mass media, gone are the days of the race reports from great Pete Lyons instead we have to read the absurd comments from a allky Editor.

F1 » Button calls shots for superb Melbourne F1 triumph

I for starters belong to the Hamilton bashers.I have followed F1 for nearly 40 years and attended my first GP back in 1971 in Austria and have seen my fair share of the greats. He is one of the best drivers around today and to disagee with that is just plain stupid but its his general attitude that gets up most peoples noses.Every comment he makes is to cover his own **** and quite often it backfires on him and also on his team. The treatment got from his own team in his first 2 seasons bordered on the extreme and that It is now going to turn against him.He has to accept that the world of F1 does not revolve around him and he might then find that he will be understood more.
