F1 » Gary Anderson added to BBC F1 2012 line-up

Jennie Gow did a good job, I thought, on MotoGP in 2010, especially as she had to follow Suzy Perry. She was certainly a good deal sparkier than Matt Roberts! She'll do fine in the pitlane once she finds her feet and may well find herself back in vision the following year. In fact, I'm guessing that this years BBC presenting line up will be fairly short term, and there'll be further reshuffling in 2013 when Coulthards contract is up and he follows Uncle Brundle to Sky.

F1 » Button underwhelmed by Briatore U-turn

@compo - The remark with which you disagreed was actually quite valid. In modern vernacular, "Like I give......................" is the same as writing "As if I give...................." It's ironic. Or sarcastic. Or something. I agree with the first poster, though. In the last nine years Button has matured and improved enormously, and at the time Briatore made his comments in, I think, 2002 they weren't especially inaccurate. However, for Briatore make them so publicly was, in my view, despicable.

F1 » Heidfeld: Pirelli knowledge will help for 2011

I was never a fan of NH - certainly never subscribed to Murray Walkers over-inflated opinion of him - but there are certainly current drivers less deserving of a drive. Will be interesting to see how he compares to Kobi if the rumours are true. I've thought for a while that it was hard on him to be touted as a possible partner to Rosberg after JB left Brawn and before MS was confirmed, then to find himself without a drive at all. But, like others, I don't think his short connection with Pirelli's testing will be very relevant for next year.
