A proper little mess here then!!
I feel that the big teams needs to walk away NOW and start the process of setting up the new series. Yes next year may not happen as the fans would want it to but at this rate would the season be any good?
FIA getting the teams together in Paris, at no doubt considerable expense, to tell them you dont get a say in the regulations is a farse.
Enough storming out of meeting, actually take the step and break away, the fans want to see good racing and we are not getting this in F1, the number of overtakes on the track is still pityful despite changes to rules. I want good close racing F1 is more like a game of chess both on, and off, the track.

Did Kiyonari disappoint?

5 disagree.
In a word.......NO. He has not ridden the track or the bike in two years and got a forth place in the first race from 11th on the grid and ran Brookes (boo) to the line in race 1. Fair to say the best placing of a replacement rider, apart from Plater at the start of the season.

Brookes: I don’t care what others think

Heated comments here thats for sure. Well it might have been brake failure BOTH times but I would say the problem is behind the brakes. Besides all that how did he get a top class ride like the HM Plant Honda? What has he done to justify this ride? Will he keep it?

First MotoGP podium for axed de Angelis.

You know its amazing what a little motivation will do for riders!! How come both the riders had to get dropped for them to up their game? I would say this type of performance more than justifies their exit.

Massa still in contention for Monza return.
Of the list given I would like to see Nico Hulkenberg get the drive as it is a great young talent who should get a go. Rossi would be fun and to be honest would not do any worse that Luca.

Lorenzo wins as rivals crash at Indianapolis

Well done Jorge a well deserved win!! I know I should post this on the Europort forums but really cannot be bothered to register for Yahoo but anyway tonight I turned the sound off for most of the 250 and then I have turned the MotoGP off as Carlton Kirby is driving me mad. Its like Eurosport are trying to get people to stop watching by getting him to commentate on the sport his constant shouting and zero comprehension of the sport is hard to believe and even during the 125s he gave me a headache. CARLTON SHUT UP FOR A SECOND AND WATCH WHAT IS GOING ON. I think I am going to have to start watching BBC and saying Cox is better than Kirby is an amazing thing. Come back Julian & Toby FFS!

Lorenzo, Stoner, Yamaha and Ducati.
Some interesting commments here but I suppose for Ducati they need to think about continuity as, so far, no-one can even bring the Duke close to Stoner. Therefore they need a top class rider to replace Stoner when he decided to leave, which might be sooner rather than later. I doubt if Lorenzo would ever beat Rossi on equal machinery over a season so why not take the money, move teams and let Rossi retire. There are a lot of good riders out there but none so bright as Lorenzo, even Simoncelli has taken time to get where he is and Spies is yet to be really tested on a GP bike. Ach I dont have a feckin clue, what happens, happens.

Mallory Park - Free practice times (2)

That is great news for both Worx Suzuki and Tommy who both have had a knock on the confidence over the last couple of months. I hope it can translate into a challenge for the Airwaves team come race day.
