F1 » Mercedes lead the way but 'still need to progress'

Yeah the Ferraris were very quick and i agree they are the ones too beat. my point was that While Michael might not have the one lap pace (atleast at the moment) he definitly has the race pace. Yeah i read about Lewis and Him destroying tires. Also hulkenberg made a similar comment saying that after a lap or two of running full tanks on the softs, they were gone. Maybe The FIA should have gotten rid of the two compounds rule this year? after all if it is this bad people will just do a lap on the worse tyre at the start and pit straight away, well that seems the smartest thing to do (especially if pit stops are less than 3 seconds)

F1 » Mercedes lead the way but 'still need to progress'

I was watching the Livetiming and what was most interesting was the long run pace of the Mclarens/Mercs. All four ran roughly 10 laps and it was Michael who was the fastest of them, consistently over the run. Lewis was next followed by Rosberg then Jenson. sure this doesnt mean much, but it shows that there isnt really a 4 tenth gap from Michael to Nico, whatever anyone thinks or says. Quali will show where everyone is at.

F1 » Brundle: Don't underestimate Schumacher in F1 2010

Last time i checked colliding with a Driver was a racing incident. even if it was for the title. Lying to the FIA stewards to gain an unfair advantage was cheating. Guess some people cant see the problem with that. Sure Michael was ''unsporting'' but he won, alot, just like Senna did and at the end of the day thats what they are paid too do. The sport is better off having people like Schumi and Senna, then a bunch of guys who are ''good sports'' who act like ''no you first ol chap'' ''no after you i insist''. i know what would make a better show. And thats a driver pushing his car, his body and the rules to the limit and sometimes beyond

F1 » Alonso: Ferrari F1 the best car I've ever had

Well Nando i hope so, id love to see you right at the front fighting for a title again. the haters wont agree but Alonso is a special talent who deservses respect, even if you dislike they way he carries himself. Massa while quick, isnt consistent enough too match Alonso. and if Massa was so good, why sign Alonso? wouldnt it be better to sign a quick you guy to be Massa's number two? But really the picture will only become clear on Saturday afternoon in Bahrian, before that nothing is certain

F1 » Schumacher plays down talk of early F1 2010 success

CDF, Why show your absolute pace and performance it testing? the top teams never do that, never have. i remember Minardi were always the pace setters in testing and you know what? When it counted, they were always the slowest. See no one knows what any of the teams are testing, what fuel loads are used etc. Lap times never count in testing. what counts is doing laps and development, not flying laps for example look at 04. Williams dominated the time sheets in testing, Ferrari were no where and then in Melbourne, Ferrari were 2 seconds per lap faster than Williams, if thats not Ross and Michael sandbagging i dont know what is

F1 » Kubica: Renault can challenge Ferrari in F1 2010

Funny how people here just seem to now exactly how fast the renault is compared to the other cars after 3 days of testing. Last time i checked, testing was nothing in terms of the order of things, ie teams never show they're hands until Saturday arvo at the first round. So what if Robert is right? and the Renault is truly faster than the Ferrari? No one knows until Bahrain, so dont count your chickens before they hatch, ever heard of Sandbagging? thats exaclty what renault could be doing.

F1 » Kovalainen: Everything at McLaren is concentrated on Hamilton

Dont use my name ok mate. As i said in my post, im no Lewis, fan, infact he is my least favourite Driver on the grid. And i agree with everything you said but the truth is this. Lewis was and will always be faster than Hekki. And in the end, wouldnt a team want to favour the faster driver? really Hekki just has sour grapes over the fact he has signed for a team that might not even be on the grid this season.
