LOL...to say a rider slowed him down from catching a tow, because that said rider caught the tow ahead of him.

"Big butch hairy men like myself see the 800s as electro cycles and the riders as over paid pansies unable to control them. If little Dani has the b*lls to ride a 990 then i admire him." Posted by Renna The best laugh of the day award goes to this fool. Whatever you may think about the 800 cc bikes, don't belittle these riders for not having big balls because of their stature. The electronics really dont make make it as safe as you may think as reflected in your comment above. They have broken almost all speed records set by the 990 cc and many of the riders have complained about the highsides. I think all 4 aliens have had high speed crashes on these bikes.

Looks like everyone is discounting James Toseland...perhaps because of his failed venture into Motogp, but his recent showing at the WSBK test had him right up there with the others. I would not count him out as he have something to prove and will have a WC winning bike which should get better ala the Motogp M1 probably shifting some parts over to help out.

Great...now we can get a set of tracks that Rossi likes in a row for some win streaks. Go Rossi in 2010 for yet another domination. Good luck Ben Spies and Colin Edwards!!!

To Who Farted...just so you know that Valentino Rossi had organised an event to raise money for a childrens hospital which treats leukemia sufferers in the Italian city of Pesaro, it was on Sunday 15th November. In 2008 he helped the nationally televised BBC Children in Need event, the charity used Rossi involvement to lead one final push for donations. I believe he did one for Riders health just recently too....so when you say he does no do anything for people you should know your facts....I am sure he does more but does not want to be in the media.

I would take a guess there. Sometimes a team takes a player not so much for offense but to play defense,... meaning it is better to keep Jorge and now Spies from the competition as they have proven the can adapt very quickly and threaten for a WC immediately. Yamaha is in a quandry as now they have 3 players that can win for them and any of these can go to either Ducati or Honda and instantly be competitive. Hopefully they can silence them with money as the go on with business as usual selling world champion motobikes.

I am firmly with you on that point Robert Jones. I dont think Pedrosa can ride that bike on the limit constantly. Many times he is beaten by 15 to 20 seconds by the big 3. Weird thing is that Rossi always seems to have the bike, where everyone unanimously say its the best bike. I smile at that. Ever wonder if his winning way plays a role in that decision. Seems like he had the BEST bike at Honda. Then he have the BEST bike at Yamaha. That lacks some oompf as proven by Ducati. Yet it is rated the best bike. Wonder if he went to Suzuki or Ducati and win as he often does if that will sway everyone into thinking that he has the best bike. :?

RawDawg...you must be MadDawg. When Rossi left they still had the winning bike...correct.So what stopped them Honda from winning after he left. Was it the Rider that stopped them or was it the Yamaha in 2004 or WAS IT THE RIDER ON TOP OF THE YAMAHA THAT STOPPED Honda. Do you remember that Honda even forbid him from testing the Yamaha until the new season began. Man get real and give him his props.

I dont see the logic to leave Indianapolis out. The gate was pretty good. Which is a lot more than some European venues. See below. '09 Red Bull Indy USGP Crowd: 146,680 by staff Sunday, August 30, 2009 A crowd count was issued at Indy just as the MotoGP race began. The weekend total for spectators is 146,680. Friday: 26,350 (under rain) Saturday: 45,200 Sunday: 75,130

Apart from Qatar.....it looks like a nice set of Rossi favorite tracks. We may just see him in the lead by midway season.
