MotoGP » Rossi to help Bridgestone develop road tyres

The best tires that Motogp ever had is Bridgestone. 2007 and 2008 proved it without a doubt. Specifically 2008 when Rossi switched and beat Casey real bad. Their tire technology trickling down to regular showroom bikes is a massive bonus. To have Valentino Rossi in their fold is even more of a bonus as he can help with the direction they need in their R & A Department. Kudos to Bridgestone!!!!.

MotoGP » Rossi speaks on eve of Ducati MotoGP debut

LMAO at the Casey Stoner Brigade as the try yet another year to destroy every other rider, especially Valentino Rossi's chances of winning. What's even laughable is that the fail to acknoledge that it is Casey own demon that has resulted in him been eliminated from any chance of winning the last 3 WC's. His crashing out every year is no longer the bikes problem but his own demon. Whatever it is, I hope he can get over it as he have performed in a dismal fashion coming fourth the last 2 years. But the Stoner fans woul make you think that it is better to win the most races than to win the ultimate prize, which is the overall world championship. Winning that brings the glory to the Manufacturer your employer...Casey failed and so he is viewed by his employers as good but can't deliver the prize. See you all after the race this Sunday. BTW .700 to .900 is simply 5 or 6 bike lengths. Easily made up under braking and slipstreaming.

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP test times - Monday 7pm

Casey about to become flushed with his anxiety attack and make a spectacular gravel dive. This is before he convince himself that the Softee tires are better. Unwise choice as it will not go race distance, but what does he care, anything to beat the massive anxiety attacks he suffers from, as he trembles on the starting grid, shivering visibly from the nervousness that is sending shivers throughout his body, as Rossi, Dani, Lorenzo and Spies all line up around him. Oh what would he give right now to be fishing in good old outback. Perhaps he is beginning to get that lactose intolerance feeling washing all over him.

MotoGP » Pedrosa fastest in Qatar, Honda form continues

Casey love of Mr. Softee knows no boundry....here is how he complained about a while back. "Casey Stoner has been far more vociferous in his criticism of Bridgestone, raising the issue of safety of the tires. In the pre-race debrief with the press at Laguna Seca, he raised the problem again, issuing a stinging criticism of Bridgestone's hard tires, and asking for a softer tire than the ones being supplied". Clearly his like of th Softee is almost like a QP tire, but to last race distance. Pfffft!!! "Stoner said. “When I went out on a soft tire I didn't think I'd be able to beat Jorge (Lorenzo) or Marco (Simoncelli) but it gave me the confidence I needed to go much faster and I set a lap time I was very happy with." Pfffft!!! Mr Softee is bed de goud!!

@Nebar....it is known fact that Casey uses Mr. Softee for his lap times...and anyway he did say it too. Here's what he said," “It seems to be more difficult to get a decent lap time on the harder tyres, having made my fastest time on an older soft tyre". There you heard it. These time he is setting will not cut race distance ...period!! WTF...Did I say that Casey used QP tires above.....and Did I NOT quote Casey on his own words. Undoubtley a soft tire will yeild better grip than the hard or medium, but not over the entire race as it will begin to go after a certain amount of laps. Clearly you guys need to get over the fact that Casey likes to lay down fast laps on soft tires at all test venues to get some sort of victory over his rivals. Don't get your Ausssie panties all bunched up over his words and take it out on me. Too bad my prediction for Casey is 4th as I have said the past 2 years. Him being a one hit wonder and all because of the unfair advantage he had in 2007.

It would be nice to see Rossi get his @rse kicked next year if he did move to Ducati. I dont particularly favor Fiat right now but I would love to see Lorenzo & Spies walk all up and down Rossi's fan fair next year. Would also like to see Stoner zoom past Rossi on a Honda @ Qatar 2011 should be an even more interesting year, cannot wait. Posted by pcxmac (265 days ago)
