MotoGP » Tech 3 'disaster' as Spies falls, Edwards struggles

Tough weekend for Tech 3 as well as the Texans, Edwards was decidedly lacklustre at a track he's been on pole and podiumed...he's probably seriously pi$$ed with 13th. As far as Spies is concerned, I'm convinced he's championship material...remember how many times Casey Stoner ended up in the gravel traps in his first year on a Honda and he's gone on to be one of the 'aliens' with a championship tucked neatly in his belt. It's racing...sometimes you just have those off happens..

MotoGP » Spies explains first MotoGP DNF

I think Spies exercised the intelligent option of pulling into the pits. If you're riding around with no real hope of a result, risking the bike and possible injury from pushing a bad position, you really have no other option. Spies is a racer through and through, he must have been cursing inside his helmet when he pulled in...good decision, disappointing as it was for all of us..he continues to impress, a thinking rider who's bullet fast...I predict he goes all the way..

MotoGP » Record-breaking Rossi passes Sepang test

Rossi's just being Rossi...he can pull it out the hat when he needs to....9 titles is my proof. Very happy for 'Nice guy' Nicky, that's got to be good for his confidence...hope that translates into some inspired and consistent race finishes, again intriguing battle in the Tech 3 team...I think the 'one-upmanship' going on will see great results from that team...long may it continue! Honda's notably absent from the sharp end...worrying..

MotoGP » Estoril MotoGP - Saturday practice times.

Casey's back ladies and doubt about it, making the other guys on the Duc look pedestrian. I for one am very happy to see him back at the sharp end. As for the rest, usual service resumed...nice to see Colin in front of Pedrobot and Dovisioso...just needs to convert that into race result to clinch 5th in the this company that would be a stellar result and give Big Ben something to shoot at...can't wait to see it!

MotoGP » Spies to MotoGP early, Toseland out of Tech 3?

Aaah my cup runneth over...I am thrilled to hear that Spies is more-than-likely to be running with Colin next year. I must say that I predicted this (somewhat immodestly) but can you think of a better fit...the affable, quick & experienced CE with the hot-shot protege from the lone-star state... I do think that Colin will have his work cut out to keep Spies behind him (and I'm an ardent Edwards fan) but I think we'll see epic performances out of Edwards next year...he'll want to keep his front-running status at Tech3 intact...I can't wait to see it ! And by the way I'm a South African...never been to Texas...Yeee haaah :)

MotoGP » Edwards 'has Tech 3 offer', Toseland options.

In terms of Edwards results this is a no-brainer (speaking of no-brainers, the tool De Angelis...bonehead take out if ever I saw one) I predict Spies wins WSBK title and partners Edwards in Tech 3 next year...Toseland, likeable guy...great rider, not cutting it here...get on Spies' bike next year and go for WSBK title no. 3....must be personally more satisfying to race for wins there than mid pack meiocrity here..
