Win, lose or draw The Ben certainly seems to keep his eyes on the brass ring. I personally think he brings a lot to the table. Focus, desire, and he goes real fast. Easily one of the best conditioned professional motorcycle racers out there in any series. Seems humble. Well spoken and quick to praise other competitors. Probably much better as a setup guy than given credit for. Looks like a Champion to me anyway.

I really think 6th for Dovizioso his first year is nothing to sneeze at. He is riding for Honda...Not like he is on a Ducati or Yamaha. Andrea has a real problem. The guys who placed ahead of him in 2009. But 6th on a Honda in his rookie year is awesome. I'm sure he wants better. Hopefully Honda will make huge improvements to the 2010 bike. Repsol is going to have to for Dovizioso's dream to get better than 6th. Props to Andrea for what I consider a suprising finishing position for his rookie year. 6th place on the planet aint bad all things considered.

With Honda maybe using a Magneti Marelli engine management system, moving to Ohlins suspension, hiring some of Yamhama data guys, I look for Honda to be a much improved bike for 2010. Will it be enough to make up for the Ducati's new engine or Yamaha changes for 2010. Dont know. Marcos should be the best of the 250 guys. Honda is finally starting to realize it is the third best bike in the paddock and will hopefully make for the most improved bike. Simoncelli if he can stay out of trouble. No fines or yellow shirts...After 2008 and 2009 troubles with Dorna he will have to keep it clean.

I for one think that Pedrosa being so light helps him get out to a good start. But I also think that him being so light is a disadvantage when it counts the most. At the end of a race. Hopefully he will do some serious weight training during the off season and put on 20 pounds of muscle.

@ cyclopathic I expect that on any given sunday that one of the top 5 riders has a shot at winning in 2010. With Spies out of the picture there will be 14 wins up for grabs between the fast 5 and hopefully we will witness wins by a couple other riders who have not won before. Because of the 2009 season maybe some real money will come to more of the independent teams and they will not be behind the eight ball right off the bat. I am looking for a no holds barred, scrum for sure. :p

We discuss the riders for 2010 and their chances for the WSBK Championship. Is there any news on the bikes themselves ??? Anybody really making changes to their 2010 bikes that are news worthy ??? :) :p :-o   :D :?

@ Sick Cylinder: "Next year should be different - Haga will have credible, competitive opposition from a range of bikes and riders including his own team mate." You got that right...Different for sure. Better...I think so. :-o
