MotoGP » Vermeulen replaces Edwards for Le Mans MotoGP

This guy was seriously quick in his first 2 years of Wsbk, unlucky to drop it in the warm up lap and break a chain to see first title go begging(was leading championship at the time...), highlights of that year was the double 1st time at LaGuna, beating both works Ducatis, 2nd year (Corsers last title) a rain cancelled race gave Corser that title, he was on a loosing streak and CV could well have been champ then too, also a very convincing Supersport World Champ, should never have signed for Suzuki MotoGP team!!! A talented rider and I wish him all the best on whatever he rides

WSBK » Salom turns down factory Kawasaki ride?

What else has Lanzi got to do to show he is still quick? 12+ seconds over Sofuoglu in the wet after starting from 21st, and that after sitting on the couch for how long? That said isn't there at least one Staufer who is lightening fast? Andrew Stroud is still the quickest Kiwi around and if I won lotto I'd sponsor him!!! Robbie Bugden is quick too... Hell, put Guy Martin on it, will make great tele if nothing else, just don't put Muggeridge on it, or Xaus...

WSBK » Carlos Checa to readers: Thanks!

@ shamarone, so the Duc's were quick in the wet, v configured engine delivers more user friendly power in those conditions, would the result have been the same in the dry? If Biagi had have got his sh!t together again this year and used the obvious grunt advantage that Aprillia v4 1000 has to successfully defend his title would you still be a hater? Bring on the 1100 triples...

WSBK » Vermeulen to miss Nurburgring

Every rider for Kawasaki over the last, I've lost count, many years has had to over ride the darn thing just to save face! I am often disappointed how many of the posters here have ridiculously short memories, but for throwing a chain and falling off in a warm up lap in 2004, he would have been wsbk champ, again in 2005 had the last race not been canned for bad weather he could have won again, also the only rider post Rossi's dominance to put a suzuki on pos 1 in parc ferme. No he hasn't achieved the objectives that kwaka signed him to achieve, (I still can't believe that he didn't re sign with Ten Kate, but even Rea can't ride that dinosaur quick enough), but he had every possibility of recapturing his previous form on a superbike, hell who wouldn't have signed him? But to write him off over a few nigling injuries? he's braver than any of us just for trying to get back out there

WSBK » Haslam begins BMW career with podium

What an exciting competition this is in 2011, if Haslam equals his result from last year he will have battled with some amazing talent (both on the field and off it...)to do so in BMW's 3rd year of World SBK, and if BMW heed the help call that Suz ignored last year then we are looking at a probable multiple champ like we did with a certain Italian in 2000...

WSBK » Checa a world leader for the first time

Yes, so good to see Checa doing well, if not for Miller last year the 2010 points table would've been interestingly different, I like the style of MotoGP riders on Superbikes, enjoyed Barros' 2 seasons especially, but can't help wishing K R Junior had tried his hand when K R Racing vanished from Moto GP. Commentators annoying you? We are stuck with Jonathon Greene, luckily he has Steve Martin with him who DOES know what he's talking about, Jonathon Greene needs to take his A.D.D. medicine as prescribed, tries too hard
