F1 » F1 2011 POLL: Who will emerge top in Hamilton/Button duel?

Supasix-1 - you know where the door is. Kindly take that chip that resides on your shoulder with you. If Hamilton keeps having off track excursions then Button will easily finish ahead. I'm not a fan of either driver so I'm impartial when I think Button will finish ahead. He is more consistant and is kinder to his tyres which has paid off in quite a few races.

F1 » BBC to be quizzed by MPs over new F1 UK TV deal

mkindy - it was the BBC that brought Sky into play. Any other channel would have had to wait until after 2013 to take over the F1 coverage after the BBC's contract had ended. However, the BBC were wanting out pretty much immediately so they suggested sharing F1 coverage with Sky. Sadly from what I can gather it was either this or nothing. Good old BBC eh? Makes me wonder why I waste my money on a license fee for a channel that I normally only watch for F1.

F1 » BBC to be quizzed by MPs over new F1 UK TV deal

If the BBC still show the race in full, only it's delayed for 3 hours, that's not really a big problem. If anything, it frees up your Sunday afternoon. For me it'll be like watching one of the races that's shown live at 6am given that I tape these and watch them later. Edited highlights are totally unaccaptable but the race shown in full with a delay is a suitable compromise by the BBC who knackered all of us who can't afford or don't want Sky. Being the BBC, I bet they are only dangling the dream in front of us and will take it away at the final moment.
