F1 » Windsor plays down USF1 rumours

you guys cannot wait for USF1 to fail before even starting. Why? F1 is not British Only is it? Is it? Some even state that "OUR SPORT" (British)is being taken away. You British folks are not the Only Ones that follow this motorsport on a daily basis. I guess that some feel that is all you have left since car manufacturing is all but gone. Sounds like sour grapes. And whoever stated that the US is sinking faster than the UK does not know much about economics. Wars cost alot, that's the problem. Adios

F1 » 'To lose Silverstone would be to destroy F1 heritage'

yank F1 has slowly become another open-wheel racing series. With all the restrictions on just about everything that is what it has become. Just look at these Asian tracks and tell me it is exciting as it was 10 years ago. Heritage really began in 1950 with drivers being killed in many races. That is long gone. At one point F1 was the most dangerous motorsport in the world--no more fellow. And sorry, but anyone who thinks Silverstone is exciting as a track is deluded.

F1 » 'To lose Silverstone would be to destroy F1 heritage'

Finally some one sees that F1 is a worldwide sport. Why are we racing in China, AbuDie, and so on when they do not partake in racing? At least Japan does to big degree. Keep Silverstone, who cares? It is a minaml (sic) track providing little excitment. Heritage went out the window years ago and you all know it. Restrictions on engines and every thing else did it. I watch the British GP but prefer Spa to all others.

F1 » Raikkonen demands to send McLaren Heidfeld way?

I just think it is cool that MCL wants Kimi back. As a fellow stated earlier, Kimi won Spa in a crap car. I would love to see him come to the IRL and kick buttocks. If he takes a year off hope he runs the Indy 500. He would be in the same crap car as every one else running 200 plus miles per hour for 200 laps. Probably the hardest race on drivers in the world considering the crashes, strain, stress and passing. And, should he go to MCL Hammy and him would not get along. Rather see him at Brawn or Force India.

F1 » Ferrari criticises Mosley, doubts F1 newcomers

Just hope that what manufactures we have left stay. Enough is enough at some point. People are crying out for nothing but pure independents. IE back to the ole days. Well Ferrari has been a manufacture team from the very beginning, 1950. Lotus was as well when they entered. More Lotus and Ferrari cars are sold here in America than the rest of the world put together, yet you act as though a USF1 team already stinks like a dead horse. Why should we not be allowed to partisipate? This whole deal over the last several days stinks.

F1 » Toyota announces it is quitting F1

You know guys and girls, this is not good for F1. Many that post sound pleased that Toyota is gone. Suppose they were not British enough for consideration by you fellows. Just look at the years and money spent to compete. Sad day for F1 and you all know it. I always thought that F1 was a worldwide motorsport, not a British only sport. No Honda, no Toyota, no Ford, no 'what next'? No Ferrari? I used to love this sport but have began second thoughts. YOU are losing fans folks and that is bad for F1. Sand tracks will not do it. Night all
