F1 » Red Bull 'ridiculously fast' insists Hamilton

Alan--I did not say everything-just engine size along with safety regs. Safety regs would surely not allow sucking fans under cars. And richard, groundhog day has passed some time ago. In fact animal rights groups are trying to do away with groundhog day because it is cruel to wake a dormant critter for TV. Hey richard, ever eat a groundhog? Not bad on the grill. Try it with tea

F1 » Red Bull 'ridiculously fast' insists Hamilton

Hey folks-if Hammy is correct and Bull has more downforce, then it will expend more fuel. Period. This is common knowledge even to armchair people. And yes, it will be a bit slower in the straits but make it up in brakeing and hopefully passing in turns. Of course there is really no strategy this season except get up front and make the one mandatory pit stop. Sort of saddens me a bit. Always enjoyed strategy used in the pits and petrol guessing.

F1 » Red Bull 'ridiculously fast' insists Hamilton

Figured this thread would be bursting by now. It is not, probably because most think Hammy is a winey boy. Whatever, his free speach is his to cover, not ours. He should be able to defend himself by now. As far as areo-works, sure many do not understand all the dymantics used because we have jobs and other things to do, keeping most of us to busy to spend countless hours study-ing areo. Armchair or not, we are still fans and just because we do not work in a particular industry does not make us idiots. And the complaints about RedBull breaking down, I well remember the Mcl's breaking problem a few years back. They got over it as will Bull.

F1 » FIA set to chase diffuser changes

Spidey--we all want competition, however, some teams last season had a 'huge' advantage due to the double diff, particulary in the first 6 races. And it did not help overtaking one bit, it worsened it. Say whatever, but going back to 2002 rules--ie, 'wide open' racing, 20 thousand revs or more, made it fun.. Who will risk it or blow up?? Do not have that now and it is missed. And I agree to a point, F1 is slowly becomming a spec series due to rules implemented during MM's rule. Sad

Andy--did not read all your posts but, about time something was done about these doubles. I say dump them all together, this lowering downforse and allowing - perhaps closer racing. Just waiting for Sebring since I cannot attend this year. Love sports cars and this will be the largest GP class in a long while. Nite
