That's why we like bike racing not F1.

I think the BBC's F1 coverage has been absolutely the best ever possible in the whole wide world and Yarmouth!! However, how about if they now attempt to build on that pinnacle and aim at even higher, more technically challenging F1 style presentations? I'm sure they could do it, couldn't they? This will allow them to leave MotoGP alone and allow Eurosport to do the job properly!

Dissapointed. OK, so it's not a problem that the BBC have it again - I don't have to watch it if I don't want to - but I would have thought that Dorna would have allowed Eurosport to broadcast it live in addition to the Beeb. As a previous poster said, let them both have it, then we are all happy. The enthusiasts can watch Eurosport and the rest can have the BBC. IMHO, MRM plus Spalding - perfection.

What a damn shame! I really mourn the passing of the 250's and would have thought that Bradley and a 250 GP Aprilia would have been a perfect match. Everyone is praising the forthcoming Moto2 and I will watch them of course, however I do not welcome them. GP racing it is not. Just imagine a works 400 or 500cc 4 stroke twin at full chat.........now that would be worth supporting!!

Whatever you do don't trust BE. He's an evil little man, but a clever evil little man. I would't be at all surprised if he hadn't conjured all this up from day one. Nobody thought the Donington plan would fly so BE must have also known it was doomed to failure. That then gave him the opportunity to get back at Silverstone. I'm happy about the MotoGP going back to Silverstone but BE's little game has now f****d up Donington for the BSB and WSBK rounds. OK, I'm sorry for you genuine F1 fans, but BE is your guy. I get the distinct feeling that we 2 wheel fans will have to suffer as well.

@Wood 'rinky dink tracks' - you have to be joking? Shows how much you know about UK tracks....nothing. BSB circuits have everything that the US circuits don't. That includes character (we actually have spectators), history (read the books), safety (read the dictionary) and a requirement for skilled riders (OK, I'll give you that one. The US does generate skilled riders every decade or so). @Buelliful ..agreed..see above. @tom ..you could be correct. All depends on the bike but NH was always quick. I'd be surprised if he wins but I'm sure he won't be embarassed. I, for one, welcome him back!

Agree with all the above but winter testing improves the breed overall and how much does it really save? The way things are going we will have production everything with no modifications allowed and no testing. I understand the issues associated with costs but this is supposed to be Grand prix racing not production or endurance.

VR casts the bait out early and most of you swallow it, hook, line and sinker. Clever guy that Rossi.

Hey guys, get back to the subject. I appreciate your 'more normal' posts - not this rubbish!! Interesting that so many refer to this race as exciting because it was clear from early on that VR was not going to risk it after the prat crash from JL. Bet you all a pound to a pinch of sh*t that the race would have been meant had the championship depended upon it. (i.e VR would really have gone for the overtake - whether it would have stuck or not, I don't know). I'm not taking anything away from CS or VR but entertaining yes - exciting no.
