WSBK » Stiggy Honda confirms demise

Really sorry to see them go as they did a fabulous job this year punching way over their weight. As has been elluded to, major sponsorship will only come with an increase in TV coverage and I fear that is not about to happen - in any of the classes. If the sport hasn't been able to benefit from the Rossi factor over the past few years then I doubt it ever will see the high profile coverage it needs. Sad but (I fear) true.

F1 » Silverstone gets 17-year British GP deal.

I'm pleased that this debacle has been concluded but I only hope that Silverstone doesn't just concentrate on F1 and 'forget' MotoGP. Bit off subject I know but just for the record, Donington had the POTENTIAL to be a great circuit. In fact it had the potential to be one of the worlds best but IMHO is wasn't as it was. 2/3rds was great (for bikes anyway) but the remaining 1/3 was naf and ruined the racing flow. Also, those of you who moan about the facilities at Silverstone and laud Donington are either Donington virgins or daft or both.

F1 » BBC picks up award for F1 film

I think the BBC's F1 coverage has been absolutely the best ever possible in the whole wide world and Yarmouth!! However, how about if they now attempt to build on that pinnacle and aim at even higher, more technically challenging F1 style presentations? I'm sure they could do it, couldn't they? This will allow them to leave MotoGP alone and allow Eurosport to do the job properly!

MotoGP » MotoGP on British Eurosport in 2010.

Dissapointed. OK, so it's not a problem that the BBC have it again - I don't have to watch it if I don't want to - but I would have thought that Dorna would have allowed Eurosport to broadcast it live in addition to the Beeb. As a previous poster said, let them both have it, then we are all happy. The enthusiasts can watch Eurosport and the rest can have the BBC. IMHO, MRM plus Spalding - perfection.

MotoGP » PIC: Bradley Smith makes 250 debut.

What a damn shame! I really mourn the passing of the 250's and would have thought that Bradley and a 250 GP Aprilia would have been a perfect match. Everyone is praising the forthcoming Moto2 and I will watch them of course, however I do not welcome them. GP racing it is not. Just imagine a works 400 or 500cc 4 stroke twin at full chat.........now that would be worth supporting!!
