MotoGP » Donington Park to host 2015 British MotoGP

How naive you all are regarding a return to Donington! RSMick is correct in that most of the classic races have actually been at Silverstone not Donington. You all complain that you can't see at Silverstone - what absolute rubbish! If you know where to sit you can see the action for longer than at virtually any other UK circuit (or Assen!)............ about 30s for Moto GP and 45s for Moto3. Do you all really think that Dorna and CE have done this with you the enthusiasts in mind? If so, you really are deluded! I accept fully that Silverstone prices for food, etc are a rip-off but do you think Donington will be any better? Wecome back to mud laden bike parks, pissing in the same pot since it re-opened in the 1970's, no grandstands, hours and hours to get out of the circuit and don't say that the circuit is great......yes 2/3rds of it is good but the mickey mouse loop...c'mon, get real. This is a real backwards step for the British GP and all you who think differently should wake up

MotoGP » Redding officially confirmed at Gresini Honda

@Garcia I tend to agree with you. To be frank, I can see MM possibly winning the WC this year and 2014 and 2015! I know that's a bold statement but he is unbelievably quick and the Honda is undoubtedly the bike of the moment. I take my hat off to him (and he smiles when he's on the podium unlike a certain CS) but I don't want to see a return to the Doohan years with total Honda domination.

MotoGP » Barry Sheene tribute at Silverstone MotoGP

@DB8 Everyone has their pet opinion on where the best spot to spectate is but IMO the best is Woodcote A, seats P130, 131 and Q130,131 but they are reserved...indeed as are Village B, Woodcote B (Yamaha) and Luffield B (Ducati). I guess I would go for Luffield A which is designated a roving grandstand. Contrary to many, I think Silverstone can provide good viewing but they are currently doing their best to alienate the fans..... Car parking charges of £15 on race day (£25 for Saturday and Sunday), and horrendous prices for rubbish food and drink will all contribute to the 'Sod Silverstone' opinion, which is sad.
