WSBK » ‘Tough’ centenary for hapless Haslam

As has been previously said, a race winner is in there somewhere but BMW need to swallow their pride and get some independant electronics guys who are truly 2-wheel aware. My fears are that BMW continue with their arrogant approach to racing as they do with everything else........and no I am not anti-BMW, I am just pro-good close racing and feel that Haslam and Corser need listening to.

MotoGP » First 2011 satellite podium falls to 'hero' Edwards

@Cubikrube I agree with your comments. It IS a long way round at Silverstone and it was inevitable that after a few laps, we would be getting individuals passing with the proverbial country mile in between.....IoM style. Unfortunately, whatever the reasons, IMO the race was boring. The real fear I have is that we may return to the Doohanesque style, at least for this year. It's no criticism of Stoner (or Doohan for that matter) but most fans want to see close racing and I don't think we will be getting it in 2011.

WSBK » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who shone at gloomy Donington?

@ Cubikrube I agree. I want Donington to succeed and will support it whenever possible but you/one/we have to face facts regarding the financial climate - it's tough out there. I don't know but I suspect thet Donington were offered the event and took it despite the fact that perhaps they weren't really ready for it. I also think Badovini will rise to the top given time. One additional point many starters are needed to make a race? I think there has to be some form of rationalisation regarding the WSBK regulations or they will be in trouble. It's all very well saying that anyone of, say, 6 riders can win the race - that may well be true but we still need more starters than we have. BSB evo regs perhaps.......?

WSBK » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who shone at gloomy Donington?

@ Cubikrube..Couldn't have said it better myself. I like Corser but you have to ask if this is his last year - at least with BMW. Biaggi - well, what do you expect? I love his style when he's on-song but this week-end he was horrible. As Niall Mackenzie said at Donington, Biaggi was making typical Superteen mistakes (no offence to the Superteen lads intended). I liked the return to Donington and the track change at the essess is good, but where are they going to get the capital to finish the job - particularly regarding spectator facilities?
