MotoGP » Pramac Ducati presents new rider line-up

Furusawa said that understanding carbon fibre bike frames is the last mystery in motorcycling. IF Ducati crack it, or even get just a little closer to cracking it, the tables will turn. I'm not saying that Rossi will answer their prayers and solve all the issues, but if he can develop the Duc then teams like Pramac stand to prosper massively. Fair play to Pramac for standing by their team as a sponsors- based on the results from last year many others would've run a mile! If Randy can score a few top eights then that faith will be repaid.

MotoGP » 'Happy' Crutchlow overcomes adversity at Sepang

Poor Cal, he is going to have a tough 2011. Barring exceptiona circumstances he'll have 3 Repsol Honda 2 works Yamaha 2 Factory Ducati & at least 1 Gresini Honda ahead of him each race. For him a cracking result will be 9th place, and even 12th (assuming everyone finishes) will be a good result. Think it's going to be hard for him (and the public) to accept that making the top ten is in fact a major accomplishment.

MotoGP » Stoner still surprised by 'different' Honda

Nice feature to read- it's someone actually being honest and saying that Ducati did have its strengths. Like someone was saying in another thread, the Duc got this reputation for being a pig with a good engine. In reality, of course, it is far from a pig but just wasn't as well rounded as the RCV and M1. When Cam Donald rode the GSVR at the TT he thought it was amazing! MotoGP is very subjective- we'd be foolish to think that a factory GP bike is ever going to be a pup. Stoner is one quick boy, but I think for now MotoGP is still the thinking mans game. That'll be Lorenzo (now he's calmed down)or Pedrosa (barring his few exceptional falls).

BSB » Tinmouth makes history as first lady of BSB

E Port, this is the public domain and loose talk costs lives. I don't think it's at all fair or right start rumours about someone. Sexist? I prefer racist- I'll race anybody! In all seriousness there is some awful bitterness in this place. I'm not interested in subjective comments about peoples personality traits or what they do in their spare time, just how well they can ride a motorbike.

BSB » Tinmouth makes history as first lady of BSB

This is now 'postive discrimination'. Yes, she has more talent than probably most people posting on here, but she has got this ride for her personality and gender- not ability. People are so quick to moan that Spanish riders get GP slots, or have a go at Karol Abraham for 'buying his ride' but are full of nothing but encouragement for Jenny. Fair play for the best wishes, but hand on heart, why should Jenny get a BSB ride when the likes of Guy Martin, John McGuiness etc etc don't? 120mph around the island is fast, but 130mph is better! There will always be politics in sport, I understand this, but let's take it with a pinch of salt. (Oh, she's lighter than the other riders too... ..and according to forum gospel this is why Pedrosa is so fast. Let's see if that theory holds out.)

MotoGP » 'Undecided' Pedrosa takes over at Sepang

Pedrosa an average rider? He's been top 5 every year since 2006 and has won plenty more races than his former team mate (and former world champion) Nicky Hayden. He was an awesome 250 rider and has proved himself to be quick on 800 and 990- all this stuff about him being quick just due to his size/weight is rubbish. He's only 3kg lighter than Stoner! Pedrosa has the best body positioning of any current GP star. His technique is textbook and he is a master at driving hard out of corners. Deserves to win this year without question. (Sadly I think Jorge isn't yet breaking a sweat...)

MotoGP » PICS: Casey Stoner in Repsol Honda colours

Hmm, talented Aussie on a Repsol Honda? Where have we seen that before?? I think Mr Stoner could do it this year, and fair play to him if he does. Based on 2010 we know the Honda is fast and without Pedrosa's throttle glitch he would've performed a lot better. The RSV is a class bike and together they will be a formidable package. Don't think it'll be a Doohan replay, but Casey will be seeing some top step action.

WSS » WSS: Portimao - Results (3): Thursday AM

Phew! Feel the relief wash over me as I see James Ellisson back at the sharp end. He's had some bad luck in his career but I believe he could be a top contender- never an all time great, but better than recent results suggest. Let's not forget that only a few years back he was a MotoGP rider with Checa, and look how he bounced back...

BSB » BSB star races Supercar in Top Gear challenge

Get over it, lads. It's a car show which offers light entertainment. Anyone with half a brain knows that the 'challenges' aren't real, and that on every stretch of flowing mountain road there are 4 camera men in a diesel hire car going twice as quickly so they can get the shot! Forget about the facts and reality, just look at the pretty cars and admire the cinematography. If you don't like it, just don't watch it!
