MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made a mistake

While watching the race in the USA the announcer said (after the incident) that race control was reviewing the crash. My first thought was, "yeah, they should be looking at a penalty for Marquez." He needs to mature as a rider and when passed, take a breath and figure out when to get by next. There is a championship at stake. Great race by Rossi and the Ducatis.

MotoGP » Aoyama called up to replace injured Pedrosa

Not one word from anyone about Nicky Hayden. Former world champ. Yeah, he should not be given a shot. You know he's American and does well, the Brits will freak because he's not Cal Crash Crutchlow. You guys in Euro Land must be still P.O'd because we ruled the top class for years. Roberts (3), Rainey (3), Schwantz (1), Lawson (4), Spencer (3), Hayden (1). I can see why your anxious to not have an American winning. "No more Americans!" And Cal is a heck of an upgrade over Bradl. 7th? Just where Bradl would have probably finished and you wouldn't have to listen to Crash whine in the paddock about his bike.

MotoGP » Aoyama called up to replace injured Pedrosa

titfortat: Why not give his seat to an up and comer like Scott Redding or Aleix Espargaro, maybe even Cal...? I'm sure all of those people would be happy to ditch their team and pay whatever fine for the chance to show what they can really do.
How about a former world champion like Nicky Hayden rather than a British backmarker? Or how about another Aussie Jack Miller? He's fantastic, LOL!
