MotoGP » Melandri signs, 2015 MotoGP grid complete

Marco did interesting things once with a nowhere Hayate on his way out of the big show (and Kwaka's) but several also-ran seasons on there-or-there-about bikes in SBK and his continued riding like an insufferable rookie in a 125/Moto3 scrum leave me scratching my head why Aprilia would spend any money to lengthen his stay in the paddock.

F1 » Montezemolo scotches Ferrari exit rumours

According to the auto industry (not sporting industry) his ouster is already done save a few details: "Tensions between Marchionne and Montezemolo were evident this weekend, when the Fiat CEO criticized the recent performance of Ferrari's Formula One team as "unacceptable" and took issue with comments from Montezemolo offering to continue running the brand. "Nobody is indispensable," Marchionne said on Sunday. While there are no plans to replace Montezemolo, "nobody should ever get it through their head that you could threaten or suggest that the house should be in trouble" if they leave, he said." MotoGP » Difficult to analyse Suzuki potential, says Dovizioso

I think Dovi is perfect for Suzuki for several reasons: -He's proven he can win on factory machinery -Ducati isn't going to be winning anytime soon barring a giant miracle -Suzuki can benefit from a rider who has established benchmarks vs, teammates on all of the Honda, Yamaha and Ducati to gauge success I don't really care which mfg wins, rather I want to see two fistfuls of bikes in with a shout and then we get some amazing battles. C'mon Suzuki! C'mon back Kawi! Welcome Zongshen and Mahindra!

F1 » Massa fumes at Perez over clash

Wow, I was flabbergasted when I came on the boards after the race to learn Perez was penalized for this accident. At worst it was a racing incident, at most Massa lost his mind and somehow expected to be given the corner. I have yet to see a camera angle where it appears that Perez did anything other than take his line, which as the car well and truly in front he was correct to do. I blame red mist for urging Massa to come from so far back, and I'm astounded the stewards called it the other way. Boo.

F1 » Massa fumes at Perez over clash

107SS2009: tian647, As I said, your opinion is a right of yours, and you can blame anything to your heart content, but you will do a lot better if you read my post about the stewards of the race capability to judge.
Undoubtedly the stewards have better experience and information to work from available to them, and ultimately their decision is the one which counts. My opinion remains unchanged based on the information available to me however, and regardless Perez' performance preceding the incident was very good despite enormous pressure - it's definitely a shame for him to lose points and grid positions next time out. Cheers.

MotoGP » Marquez, Lorenzo: Rossi will fight for victory

Iannone and Dovi have both recently shown the Ducati is fast enough to pull an early holeshot and lead from the start. Crutchlow's quali run seems to show he's finally back on form as well and is close enough he could also be in the dice at the start. If any of those guys or JLo can hold up Marquez's escape Vale has a good sot at catching the lead group. I sure hope so, will make for a far more interesting race than if MM walks from lights out.
