MotoGP » Lorenzo: Braking key in fight with Hondas

Slowly slowly catches the monkey.. Rossi has had to tread carefully after coming back home, what with Jorge's ego and the 2 years at Ducati, but the fruits of his and Burgess' experience will eventually turn that bike around. Preziosi kneeling at the feet of Furasawa trying to pick his brains and understand 'the magic triangle', proved Ducati were never up to the job of redesigning the Stoner developed CF POS. Yamaha signed Rossi for this reason and they will move heaven and earth to deliver. The 2014 M1 will be Rossi's bike once more. Start saving your pennies for a title punt..lo-o-ong odds and great value for money I say.

MotoGP » Rossi: I’ve never seen a rookie like Marquez

Marquez is a breath of fresh air.. His never-say-die attitude and youthful exuberance has transformed the Repsol garage into a place where people actually enjoy turning up for work..a stark contrast to last year. The positive vibes, Rossi-esque back-slapping and laughing amongst the crew are infectious. The whole paddock seems a much brighter, happier place...and on track, we've seen more racing and battling this season than we have the last three years. MM is a diamond and will only become more polished as he gains experience. He's set to dominate and become the darling of fans. The similarity to Valentino is almost uncanny.

MotoGP » Hayden clarifies carbon frame comments

Proven pedigree my arris.. What part of.. 5 unforced error race crashes, 158pts behind in the standings, 4th for the second year on the trot.. and failing to beat 2 riders who had 7 races off with proper injuries.. do you NOT understand? Stoner was not competitive in 2010. He didn't tame anything. Three late season wins interspersed with crashes is not evidence the bike was a contender. Preziosi and Stoner reckoned the bike was good. They were wrong and must shoulder some of the blame. If Ducati had listened to Rossi & Burgess instead of getting the hump and acting so pig-headed, they may have been a lot closer to the opposition today than they are.

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

Stoner didn't win a race on the CF bike for nearly a year. The 'miracle cure' at Aragon was because Preziosi convinced him to try Haydens set-up and it didn't stop the crashing. Casey worked wonders on the CF bike, but there is no way it was a contender even then..when the Jap bikes didn't have the superiority they have now. Rossi came 7th on his debut at Qatar and lapped as fast on the Stoner CF Ducati as he did on the M1 while winning the year before. 2011, Honda brought out there game changing seamless transmission and haven't looked back since.

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

Hayden is on record saying the ALU beam frame provided better feel at the front.. WTF are you talking about now Nick? You were on better tyres then. Stoner, who is much better than you, kept crashing and finished 4th best alien 2 years in a row..and that was before the competition improved out of sight. Trying to wriggle out of a shite record of 3 wins in 10 years on factory bikes methinks. Kin Yanks..
