WSBK » Phillip Island test - Overall times

Impressive = Smrz, Camier, Ducati in general, Haslam ( Poor = Kawasaki (again) come on guys for gods sake lets make some real progress! BMW (again) also why do they're riders keep saying the bike feels great yet they never even get close to the front?!?! You've talked the talk now lets walk the walk for a change eh? I personally dont think Xaus has got it anymore. Corser was an excellent choice for a new team, but he needs a young teamate with something to prove, simalar to Aprilia's lineup. Yamaha, Im sure they will sort it out but they may be off the pace in the 1st round by the looks of it. Everybody else pretty much where I expected. Thoughts everyon

WSBK » Portimao test - Overall results

About what I expected. I hope BMW and Kawasaki have found a direction in this test so they make a big improvement ready for the next test, because Vermeulen and Corser are both capable of running at the front. Tbh I'm slightly dissapointed with both camps, BMW dont look to have made any improvements over the winter and Kawasaki need to pull their finger out because, testing or not, you cant get away from the fact that they are 2 secs off the pace. Every rider present at the test would have tried at least one "quick one" in the 3 days imo. Tell you what thats a blistering time from Rea aswell!

WSBK » Portimao test - Friday PM

Before everyone rips into Chris Vermuelen and Kawasaki can I just point out that he and Hayden are the ONLY riders who have not ridden the track before. Oh and its one of the hardest in the world to learn. JT fans better get realistic. He has got a MAJOR problem on his hands with Crutchlow! Impressive - Haslam, Crutchlow, Byrne Dissapointing - BMW, Guintoli, Neukirchner.

WSBK » Shane Byrne signs for Althea Ducati

Great news. Checa would not have signed at his stage in his career if the bikes are going to be rubbish. (Ducati's come "good to go" as a race bike anyway not like the 4 cylnders bikes)So as long as they are a good spec and you've a good crew chief I dont see any problem. There aint much development left in the 1098 anyway as its already three years old. The team seem like they have got money behind them to be able to sign byrne and checa. Bring it on!!
