Oh Great, another "Let's Start a Rival Series " idea.

What chance does that have Flav?

Unless you are starting a "World Demolition Derby" series, with the cars piloted by naked women, and teams owned by egotistical, holier than thou, braggarts like you, I'd bet my ridiculous salary that it won't go anywhere.

Do what every other millionaire with an ego larger than the moon does, go buy a football (soccer to us yanks) team, and spend all your money on big name little talent players and yuck it up in the media everytime your team falters.
You lost, now take your ball and GO AWAY!

This series was the lone brightspot in the winter months. Now it seems that it is going to go the way of CART. Too many hands in the basket, rising fees to be competitive and some arcane rules are forcing this series into the museum. Sad really, I really enjoy the "world cup" aspect of it.

Like him or not Agree with him or not But on this issue, this one, he is right. We all, as F1 fans, should be releived. Banning reanult from F1 or fining them with a number and lots of zeros would have probably killed off one of the better teams in the paddock. Times are tough, money is thin, sponsorship is at a premium. I am thankful that Reanult is allowed to continue to exist. Losing another manufacturer owned team would be disasterous. I don not condone what happened. It could not have happened at a worse time for F1, and renault should be punished, but the FIA did so in a way that allows them to survive, and I approve of that.

If you "strip" away the renault win, that would have moved Massa up into championship spot. F1, while some do not agree, did the right thing. Changing the outcome of a race, and a championship post partum would have even more disasterous effects than what has already happened. And yes, they have changed results before, Brazil comes to mind, when Fisi was awarded a win a week later....a week, not a full season. The important question to ask is "What is F1 doing to ensure this never happens again?" That is the only question I want to see an answer to.

I also agree that he has a right to defend himself, but really? He seems more ticked off that his "stirling" reputation is being hurt than actually proving his innocence.

The fine levied upon McLaren was for something, if not immediatley dealt with, could have had farther and more damaging repercussions than this particular incident. McLaren was found guilty of espionage. If the FIA did not step in and quash this right away, more and more teams would have started the practice, and before anyhtig would have been done, everyone would have been guilty. When the FIA fined McLaren, it was a huge signal to every other team that espionage, in any way shape or form, will not be tolerated. While renault did not get fined, the message was clear to all the others. Orchestrate an accident to gain results, and you will be done. The precedent has been set.

Regardless of the outcome in Singapore, This year has been a huge success for Force India. No one expected them to score more than a few points, but to score a podium, that was phenomenal!! Vijay has the structurem with a little more cash, another year of experience, and continued strides forward, Force India could become a mid pack team instead of a bottom rung team next year. Let's just hope they don't do something drastic and sack Sutil or Tonio in favor of someone like Karthekeyian.

and a little more..... As far a racing in famous locales like Las Vegas Bring racing back to france, race in paris, integrate the Champs Elysses(sp?) into the track. Or in england, race around Picadilly Insread of the most boring race on the Calendar in Spain, take to the streets of Barcelona. Race around Times Square in New York Have a race in South Florida or Mexican Coast Race in Sweden, At night, In the summer, while te sun is still out. Do something other than this cookie cutter race track stuff. F1 is the "glamour" of motorsprts, why not race on some of the most glamourous locales on planet earth?
