F1 » Brundle: Hockenheim 'excruciatingly painful'

Being faster than your team mate isn't enough. If he's ahead of you, you need to overtake him, or you don't get the win. Simple as that. Massa could and should have won, but the team manipulated the result to let Alonso win. It's not right and it looks crass, but then, Ferrari always do. A one-two finish is great for the team, it shouldn't matter which of them got the win. But when you have a spoilt brat crybaby prima donna in your team, I guess that influences things. Poor Massa - he should hightail it out of that team the way Kimi did.

F1 » Hulkenberg to leave Williams

Williams wanted to place Hulkenberg in the HRT team next season, with a view to bringing him back in 2012 as Barrichello's replacement. Nico turned it down, sensible lad. It's a cr@ppy way to treat a driver, but Williams has done this before. How many times has a Williams driver won the WDC and not been retained the next season? The team have taken Maldonado, so obviously needed a cash injection urgently. I think he'll do well, but hes' a rookie, so in effect Williams are starting from scratch again as far as having two points scoring drivers is concerned. Hulkenberg would have shone next season. I hope Force India take him on.

F1 » Webber never liked new wing, claims engineer

Oh look the boys are throwing their toys out of their prams again. Mike Hammer (JET) why bother arguing with Andrew? There's no point. He sees no one's opinion but his own. He has decided he doesn't like Webber so will slate him every chance he gets - at least until he remembers Hamilton. Richard is going the same way, letting his prejudices show. He used to be better at hiding them. And as for the unnamed RBR engineer keeping his name out of it to protect his job: what a t0sser! He shouldn't be slating anyone at Red Bull - he works for them! No wonder the team are going to fail to win both titles with pondlife like that in their employ.

F1 » Vettel: Still 'something special' about Schumacher

Michael is having a crap season. He is being a55-whipped by his team mate, in the same car. One that has been modified to suit his driving style as well. Schumacher might say publicly that he is happy with his performances so far, but privately he will be furious that it is not happening for him. We keep hearing that he is gonna come good. When exactly? How long is it going to take? It's like waiting for these fabled Mercedes super-upgrades....don't hold your breath. However the Merc is performing, a 7 times WDC should be able to beat his team mate. RawDawg has it exactly right.
