MotoGP » Lorenzo to Ben Spies: Stay calm and focused

I was going to mention replacing Tom Houseworth, but I thought I would be crucified here. From what I understand, his crew does not have the experience to tune a GP bike. I remember an article stating that in WSB they were doing adjustments in 50mm increments, in GPs they are doing 5mm increments and getting more significant changes. Seems like they haven't gotten the grasp of making predictable adjustments on the machine.

MotoGP » Fastest Lorenzo tests for the future

@CRT From what I've managed to read and research, I was always under the impression that Valentino was the only one with a "true" M1 during the 990 years. Yes, Edwards was a test mule for not only Yamaha, but Michelin, as well. I guess it's only up to speculation how close the specs were between Rossi's M1 and the other Yams. Nothing like it is today as the satellite bikes are pretty close to the Factory bikes. I mean, they used to run Dunlops back in the day! I guess the point I am trying to make here is that you can't compare the RCVs during the 990/800 eras to the M1s because there was only one true M1. And as we have seen there have been a couple true RCVs/NSRs outside of the Repsol Squad.
