RECOMMENDED COMMENT
1 agrees.
To the guy banging on about Dan Partel's EFDA please research you motor sport history. Some of the very first racing, the Gordon Bennett races 1900 to 1905 and which became Grand Prix racing in 1906 GP de France.
Anyhow the Gordon Bennett races and indeed the early GP were Nation versus Nation competitions (the National MSA versus the MSA of another Nation much like the World Cup Football is for example team representing the English FA against a team representing the French Football federation).
So Nation versus Nation motor racing certainly isn't a Dan Partel dreamed up concept and neither of course is it an A1GP original idea.

A1GP secures funding deal
Ahem Disgusted. Point of law please. Administration is given where there is a realistic chance to save a business and the administrator appointed runs that business until his duties are discharged. During his charge the business is protected. If there is no chance of saving the Company then the Liquidator would be told he was free to sell the assets. There would be no point of prolonging the situation. No need for Administration in those circumstances. You clearly don't know your insolvency law from your elbow!

Clearly not dead yet if Disgusted is correct in his/her asertion that Administration has been allowed. I don't know Mr T - E - I - X - E - I - R - A but I do know something of insolvency law.

Series in doubt after liquidation?
1 disagrees.
Good heavens, all Charles Sale should have written is that IMG's deal with A1GP rendered Richard Dorfman redundant. End of. Incidentally, to correct another post Dorfman is not/ was not A1GP's PR.

2 disagree.
Living up to your name aren't you? I suggest you go and read about James Gordon Bennet Jr, a former publisher of the New York Herald.

I suggest that it is you who hasn't been paying attention to this thread. My post about Gordon Bennett was simply in response to the poster who would have us all believe that Dan Partel's EFDA series introduced the concept of Nation versus Nation motor racing. It didn't.

Your list is utter rubbish A1 Last Chance. One of the teams you mention isn't even on the list for Australia, instead being listed as a reserve...and I'm not referring to Pakistan!!

The last post is not mine though it is not the first time on this site that people have been claiming to be someone they are not. So to save any future misunderstanding I have registered. Will those who post doom and gloom about A1GP and highly defamatory remarks about other persons care to do likewise? I doubt it.
