MotoGP » Improving Smith vows 'I won't get carried away'

that was a big jump!.....I had thought that Herve was crazy hiring him for what is the best satellite seat in the world of Motorcycle racing, in light of all the other contenders.....if he keeps this up, we will see exactly what it is that Herve could see in Bradly that most others (myself included) could not, either way, I wish him luck, he seem to be a nice fella!

MotoGP » Lap time gets 'interesting' for Valentino Rossi

Sorry Rossi fans (myself included) but this is probably what we will see all racing season long, Rossi .5 seconds behind Pedro, MM, & Jlo. They will all be fighting for the podium whereas Rossi will be fighting with Cal, Bradl etc. I would love to see h im fighting for podiums or wins, but from these numbers it won't be happening, .5 seconds is HUGE!...of course there will be races with injuries and accidents and he will have a chance to contest podiumn or even a win, but that will be the exception not the norm. I see absolutley no cause to celebrate from these numbers. Also, as was said by even Bugess during his fianl Yamaha effort last time around, Rossi just cannot dig as deep as he used to on raceday like he was able to in days past, it didnt really matter where her started on the grid, he could make it up, but during his last year at Yamaha he struggled to do that. I hope i'm wrong!!

MotoGP » 'Big relief' as Rossi banishes doubts at Sepang

As someone else stated, this is no cause for Rossi or his fans to celebrate, of the 4 top bikes he is firmly FOURTH, and .4 off his teammate which is a very large gap at this leve. MM is up to speed on a bike he has practically never ridder, whereras Rossi has tons of experience. I don't see this cause for celebration, unless you want to see Rossi tooling around in 4th all season long, I hope that is not the case, but if one was to extrapolate testing times as a prediction for the racing season (as people seem to be doing) then it doesn't bode well at all!!

WSBK » Toseland would 'definitely' return to MotoGP

If JT cannot even beat half the superbike field whilst on the winning bike and oodles of experience, who in their right mind would bring him into MotoGP. About the only candidate in Superbikes worthy of a MotoGP ride is Haslam. I wish you luck JT, you seem like a nice chap, but if you want to be considered for a MotoGP ride back you need to be consistently winning races in Spies-like fashion. Heck, you don't even have ducati to contend with this season, you should/need to be winning in a convincing manner.

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP test times - Tuesday.

A real pleasure to watch The Ben enter MotoGP with a bang!...behold, we are witnessing the next truly great rider in MotoGP, can't wait till next year, what a shame he is not on a factory bike!!..stupid rule!...regardless, Spies will be the hottest commodity in MotoGP after years end, he is crafting everything from his riding to his personality, he was criticised for being too stern and serious, so now you will see him all smiles and cracking jokes as he works on his off track persona, I am full of admiration for the effort and determination this guy has on and off the track, he deserves to be the champ and he will be!..

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP test times - Monday.

I don't think Ben will be a title contender his first year, simply because he is not on the factory bike, I do think however that he will be getting podiums and would not be surprised if he gets a win!..maybe more...regardless, he will be the most impressive entry into MotoGP in quite a few years and all the naysayers will be silenced....he will be champ in 2011 on the factory ride, it is written on the wall, Ben is a true champion and that is his destiny!....
