MotoGP » ‘Happy’ Crutchlow fourth with new swingarm

PrettyinPink: Someone's telling porkies - the MotoGP guy went to the pits and took a look to see for himself, and guess what? That's right, he reported that both of Crutchlow's bikes were fitted with the older swing-arm (minus the cut-out).
And he has since corrected himself and reported that Crutchlow WAS using the new swingarm. Can't believe anyone would take the opinion of a pit lane pundit over that of the rider actually using the gear...

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow dislocates ankle in Mugello fall

Silicone: @ mysticmeg has taken some flak but he's right.
No, he's not right. Far from it. To suggest a racer is not a high enough level for a class when they've scored 8 podiums across 3 different manufacturers is just plain silly. And you could argue that every rider on a satellite machine is a 'no-hoper'. So would you have the class restricted to only those handful of riders on full factory kit? Always sad to see when threads revealing rider injuries are tainted by opportunistically snide and unpleasant comments when the decent thing to do is to wish the rider a speedy recovery.
