F1 » Wolff: Driver relationship ‘very intense’

janhein:
107SS2009: Thepaddck1, “Lulu is by far the driver most in the spotlight and talked about” I fully agree with you on that one, will go as far as to say that it cannot be otherwise with his two attributes/capabilities, one of which is his troublesome attitude and the other being his ability to brain fart most of the time he opens his mouth.
and then there is of course his ability to drive a race car really fast, but that is not your cup of tea i guess?
Although I never ever remember drinking tea the ability to drive a racing car extremely fast has been acknowledged well before your migration to this site.

F1 » Wolff: Driver relationship ‘very intense’

Taipan:
janhein: on a different note, did any of you see nick and nico in china?
Absolute shocker, I'm a bit of a fan of Prost Jr but that was a major brain fart. Nick was very lucky to walk away from it. At least Prost had the good sense to apologise for his error. As for the Troll, he's been busy playing with the disagree button today but seems quiet on the multi posting front. I can live with that.
Having watched the reaction of Prost senior (he was watching on monitor) when the accident happened between his son and NH said it all, it showed his total disapproval for the actions of his son, and note that at first Prost junior was trying to push the blame on NH, I am to assume until he was spoken to by his father.

F1 » Renault expects fuel to be a factor in Singapore

With all due respect, but there seems to be a technically wrongly perceived/ held believe/s that air fuel ratios of a F1 engine is adjusted to lean to save on fuel or rich to go faster, I am talking about the fuel flow as a proportion of air consumed here. I do not blame anybody for those believe/s as long as it is not forced upon those in the know, because some adjustment on the steering wheel does say (lean/rich), but what the function of lean/rich does actually do is move the max power speed (revs) of the engine up/down. It has to be understood that the air/fuel ratio is optimised to produce max power at all engine speeds in use, which spells (fuel flow as a proportion of air being consumed), In the case of the present ICE it was decided at the design stage that as per the 100kg/h max fuel flow rule these engines cannot produce any more power above 10500rpm as otherwise they will go over the fuel flow limit imposed by the rules.

F1 » Renault expects fuel to be a factor in Singapore

I do not agree that it’s got anything to do with drivers feet (foot) being heavy or light, the number one main factor effecting fuel consumption is the ability of the ERS system in deploying the most power (additional to the ICE power) for the longest time over a lap, other factors which will effect fuel consumption are the level of down force and so drag and gear ratios.
