F1 » 2015 F1 driver line-up so far

While Alonso (as per the consistent media rumours) is clearly one of the top three drivers of mclaren/Honda “plan A” for 2015 Grosjean could be the “plan B”, according to “Marca” Grosjean was in talks at mclaren’s in the Austin paddock on Saturday accompanied by his manager Julian Jakobi. Richard, is somebody playing your shadow?

F1 » Horner: F1 teams not here to sponsor each other

OLDRACER23: I agree with Horner -- Eccelstone has made billions off of race teams and t.v. for decades -- he needs to put a bit back in. Also - get rid of electronics -- there is a halving of budgets straight away.
I don't agree with the last parts of both of your sentences. BE needs put nothing back in, if that happens it will only be a stop gap, (which is already being activated) what is needed to save F1 racing is for both him and CVC to go and the commercial rights be returned to their rightful owners. There is no way to get rid of electronics, if it was possible it would mean moving back to the stone age.

F1 » Mercedes set to make F1 engine freeze compromise

Firestorm, be assured that we are both on the same wave length re the PU development unfreeze, what I was saying in my post was on a different theme, a theme which I can assure you that I know what I was talking about (re the management of the Mercedes team by the three stooges). @WYNK, You shouldn’t have deleted your post on the premise that I wasn’t here to answer, people that knows me around here can assure you that I wouldn’t have missed it, and another thing, do not be bothered about attacking me, I am used with that staff over here.

F1 » Mercedes set to make F1 engine freeze compromise

As to the other two stooges of Mercedes, Lauda’s F1 managerial skills has been proven by both FERRARI kicking him out of an advisory role and Ford kicking him out of Jaguar managerial role, now finally he bought himself back into Mercedes by a ten percent share. As to Paddy, we will have to wait to see how much he can improve what Ross Brawn has left him, which is what all three of them are handling this year, and that is not only the car that they have been handed, but the team as is. I felt I had to sustain what I said by this description of the three stooges of Mercedes for the benefit of the likes of WYNK which I don’t expect him to agree with what I said, but at least should have the decency to rebut with facts what I said.

F1 » Mercedes set to make F1 engine freeze compromise

Smpmatty, My CRASHNET pen name 107SS2009, my name Sunny Stivala mechanical & electrical engineer retired, a follower of formula one and the motor sports in general, a model engineer as a hobby. As to Richard I have a fairly accurate idea as to who he is, but regarding his CRASHNET contributions one of the best long standing and well informed posters. As to you and who you are do not bother telling me, no interest from my side about that.

F1 » Mercedes set to make F1 engine freeze compromise

About how much two faced Toto can get, while in an interview he call Marussia and Caterham naive and overly optimistic he now came out suggesting F1 big teams can help the small teams by a small percentage, he accuses Red Bull and FERRARI of driving up costs when it was his team who outspend the competition two to one, his two facedness was even proved in DTM of which he is responsible at Mercedes, after suffering a disastrous races in the early season he gladly accepted BMW and Audi offer to ease the aero freeze for them, in F1 he wasn’t shy to lie and obfuscate to deny the competition parity on the engine sector, could be he is competing with MR F1 for the best double faced of F1
