I think this is fairly old news, definately before yesterday and all the reports of Button already signing a McLaren contract. Anyway that's what I'm hoping. Raikkonen would be much better in a McLaren than Button.

I'm guessing they are referring to Pastor Maldonado as the Venezuelan option ? Anyway I really hope Maldonado does join I've been a big fan of his for a few years now. He may not be the most consistent driver but he always makes the effort (even if he crashes out as a result) and he's provided some great entertainment and some brilliant wins in GP2 so he deserves a seat.

If this is true then it's very unfair on Kimi. It shouldn't be any of McLarens business what Ferrari is paying Kimi as compensation. He is getting that money because Ferrari terminated his contract or else I'm sure he'd've preferred to stay there. And isn't Lewis Hamilton getting paid 18 million so why should Kimi be getting less? grr it winds me up Kimi belongs at McLaren!

Hmmm although for those people who aren't there... most people are at work at 12pm, though I understand with the time difference and everything it's just a shame I can't watch it :( wasn't it on a weekend last year because I watched it live last year?
