MotoGP » Imperious Valentino Rossi dominates Dutch MotoGP

Final point on Cal, great race but how many times has he overshot on brakes it is his achilles heel and it is not all about kit he simply fluffs it. But irrespective did you see the way he and Marc laughed it off all three on the podium are racers not just riders. When it is Jorge and Dani it looks like a wake as they wait to go on the Podium. Nothing against them I support both but fair dinkum also if he does the cobra again I am going to break his other collar bone...

MotoGP » Imperious Valentino Rossi dominates Dutch MotoGP

Overlord, actually I was saying the same thing to my wife just now after I wrote that. Correct, one of the secrets to winning WC (as opposed to individual races) is to not get hurt. As I have stated previously you cannot tell me that one of the major contributing factors in Rossi's 9 WCs is the fact that he holds the record for the most consecutive race starts...

MotoGP » First pole for Cal Crutchlow in hectic Assen qualifying

Aussie your secret love affair with Vale continues. This has nothing to do with pr and all to do with a thing called a contract. As for Cal very fast but pole positions don't make wins. Equally while talented Cal has crashed a number of times while in a good position and this has had little to do with subpar kit. I would also point out that it was Cal who opted for a 1 year deal thinking people would be falling over themselves to hire him to me those with a better view than us are the best barometer of a riders skill

MotoGP » Rossi eager to try 'important step' at Assen

Look if it is correct and was affecting his breaking (probably his greatest weapon) then this is cause for celebration. Equally Vale has been cautious with his words due to Duc and the start to this season so for him to come out so blatantly stating a breakthrough seems positive. Despite all the vitriol I have always felt there is something not quite right and it isn't all the rider. Let's see in Assen, carn Vale.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi hails Aragon ‘brake-through’

Guna well done you basically encapsulated what I have been thinking. Despite the trolls I have said previously there is something influencing his performance which has nothing to do with age, psyche etc. Yes his years of dominating the other aliens are perhaps gone but quali 7th is equally weird. Braking has always been his weapon and hopefully this is the "click" he has been looking for he certainly seems positive.
