MotoGP » Rossi 'happy, competitive' and ready for Qatar

As for this season if Rossi can start up the front he can win or podium. The thing is with four and possibly 5 if you count crutchlow they will all be taking points off each other so it is hopefully unlikely that any one rider will pull out an unassailable lead... Can't wait for Qatar. Let's hope there is no numpties on the first corner (Barbera are you listening?).

MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz 'told to leave' Austin MotoGP test

There seems to be some indication that Kevin got a marketable commodity together the deal fell through when his mate Helmund jumped ship the deal fell through but only to the point where one of the parties was not included in the development of the final contract, that being Kevin. How illegal this is is hard to say is it fair probably not but if legal and fair were the same we would have much smaller gaols. Also Kevin is no wilting violet so I think this was a stunt to keep this story alive. If he thought he had a leg to stand on legally he would be shutting up and let due process run its course.

MotoGP » Marquez unstoppable at Austin MotoGP test

Marquez for the title in his Rookie year is looking less and less unlikely. Dani must be worried and a little pissed off as he sees another year and therefore his chances of ever winning a WC bar catastrophe disappear. Also I'll get flamed but as I have said even when Stoner got on and last year the Honda have developed a drive out of turns that is leaving the Yam in their dust. Jorge and Rossi know that they could ride their teets off and they will get nailed simply coming onto the straights.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: Big gains, some problems remain

Lemmy, I know he is a rookie but given that they are all at an unknown circuit Marquez is looking ridiculously fast. Sorry Vale, Marquez it is. Plus I agree Honda since 2011 but particularly 2012 seem to have really pulled their finger out on bike development and the distance is telling. I am starting to think it will be a race between Dani and Marquez (if he keeps a level head)

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: Big gains, some problems remain

Sorry herewego I don't buy that entirely one of the things the Yam excelled in and what kept it in touch was that it was the most stable under "hard" breaking. Also I don't think Rossi has a unique style of braking I think he is just very good at braking on the limit. It is was precisely the dodgy Duc frontend that penalised him most. As for sorting it out, obviously, I am merely stating that problems with hard breaking never came up as a problem previously, spinning up under acceleration, lack of grunt yes braking no.
