MotoGP » Lorenzo pips Spies at Aragon MotoGP test

@Tommy I guess it shows that there really is a massive step up from WSBK to MotoGP as few from WSBK have really excelled in MotoGP whereas those who leave MotoGP usually nail WSBK (Biaggi, Bayliss, JT even, Checa, Corser etc etc), and Simo showed what a decent MGP rider can do on the first attempt. As for Ducati, yes I believe they are pushing shot up hill and the possible resourcing from VW is unlikely. Rossi on a Yam or Honda next year particularly Honda given that now that the performance advantage of last year has been nullified by Yam even the supposed diety Casey has been shown to be only as capable as the bike he is given JUST like everyone else.

MotoGP » Dovizioso fastest at Catalunya MotoGP test

Yes but conversely pcx Stoner did not win a WC on Duc after 2007 and there are a lot of variables that changed which point to Duc having some kind of edge as to my mind the rest simply caught up in 2008. And as the constant bickering goes it would seem that most of the WC had the best bike when they won. Jorge would be mad the Honda last year just killed the Yam out of the turn and Stoner capitalised, agreed only 5 races in but it seems that advantaged has diminished and hey presto Jorge is out in front.

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins Catalunya home MotoGP duel

What I can't understand is given that Stoner can ride around anything and doesn't need the best bike why he didn't win. Oh that's right maybe he does. Well done Jorge. Ben last season in MotoGP factory team and Dovi to keep Stoner out. As for Rossi yeah I thought a reasonable effort under the circumstances but really they need to find something Bradl opened up a gap that should not be happening.

MotoGP » Stoner snatches Catalunya MotoGP pole

Tin55, think a lot of people would be happy if Stoner stopped talking. As for retirement, the guy is a Woose plain and simple, boo hop I'm a negative little duck and people bag me.. Equally he wants it all his own way no press, no appearances less testing doesnt even turn up in person to get his WC trophy. Great rider but deserves the derision he recieves. As for passes every dog has its day and I agree it is not his fault if he pulls big leads but as for fighting I have seen him consistently give up if put in that position, which is reflected in the above. Rossi and Jorge enjoy a battle.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi realistic heading to Catalunya

Slick I guess different strokes for as a mid pack proddy racer despite lots of people around me I enjoyed nothing more than putting one under brakes into the next corner. If I wanted to ride on my own I will have a private track session. I agree winning is everything but I think the comments so far are that winning as a Rider is awesome but watching someone win by 10 secs is boring unless watching the fridge light come on when opening the door is your idea of excitement.

MotoGP » Lorenzo heads home for 'special race'

Maybe Jorge just grew up and realised people felt he was a wannabe. Love or hate the Rossi celebrations they were a reflection of his natural personality whereas Jorge's came across as fake because really this is not him or Stoner for that matter. The thing I like about Jorge is given that there was a muted response to his win I don't see him taking his bat and ball because he is not as loved as Rossi or called a diety for his riding. Has learnt to get on with it. Equally isn't it funny that now that the Yam is even close to the Honda this year hmmm Stoner is "the best rider ever to be born since racing began in 1949" etc et.
