MotoGP » Marquez: It's going to be an interesting championship

PorkPie, at the end of the day it is a boring race if there is no competition. I see positives for Rossi in that this is probably the worst away track for Yamaha as it destroys their tyres and the long straights only highlight their tangible power issues compared to Honda and now Ducati. You could see Rossi pull a small gap around the back of the track only to have this removed on the straight by Dovi. Yamaha have to find something in terms of power to remove the need to rely so heavily on handling to make up the gap. As for Ducati the running out of fuel pretty much confirms that this extra fuel makes a difference and if they went back to 20 well let's just say they wouldn't be quite so amazing.

MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Daryl Beattie - Q&A

To me Darryl made the right decision. Many people go to WSBK never to return, as he said he made all the effort to get there only go backwards after one season, and what gets me is the number of hangers on like Dani, whereas in 3rd after first season against Rainey and Doohan. Pity the Suzuk has problems as I think Beattie clearly matched Doohan and certainly Doohan would not have had 5 in a row with Darryl on competitive machinery. I'll get bagged but history shows that Creville was nowhere near until Mick retired. Bit like Ago only winning his first WC on the MV after Hailwood left!

MotoGP » Jack Miller: It’s out of this world!

What crap I remember an interview with Athony West in Moto 2 where he mortgaged his house so that they would take him on because he could not get sponsorship in Australia (as most races are in Europe). So to say its his passport. Even Stoner's (who most will know is not my favourite rider) family gave up everything for him to pursue racing in England then into MotoGP. If anyone could rely on their passport it would be Spaniards followed by Italians. From Gardner onwards Australian's have got there on talent and you can't say from Millers efforts this season that he is not talented. Also losing the WC by 2 points must burn but I think it is just what Miller needs coming into MotoGP.

MotoGP » Crutchlow enjoys ‘aggressive’ Honda debut

I have said previously the exact same thing he has it all in front of him the bike the experience now etc so if he doesn't set the world on fire on the factory RCV sorry mate give it up. Having said that I think his words are interesting in relation to the Honda v Yam/Ducati. I have always said that since they did the major revision 2010/11 the Honda now matches Yam in handling but most importantly and you can see in Marquez v Rossi and that is in braking. I so hope that Yam make up some ground so that we can see what Marquez can do with a level playing field, as while alot of it is him alot is the bike also. And before you say what about Dani sorry great rider but not WC material, had his chances and yes alot of bad luck, but as Lee Trevino said "the harder I work the luckier I get".
