MotoGP » Rossi gives tentative approval to new chassis

Guna, Agree Ducati's fortunes changed in part because of Rossi's departure and Gigi's arrival. Gigi could see that he needed to have full control over bike development and refused to come over until he could take an axe to the previous personnel and general approach. While speculation I wonder what would be situation if Gigi and Rossi were there together. I also maintain that JB was not up to the job of tuning the new motorcycles and I think it clear that Gabusera has also had an influence on Rossi's fortunes this year. I would also agree with Codger, the fact that he and Marquez had a battle in Qatar shows that Rossi is still competitive. I hope it shows again in Jerez.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: Bradl cost me a podium

Look it may be a legit move and Rossi has done just as much but generally it was in the process of taking the lead. Also I think he made a pretty fair appraisal while he made mistakes at the start he was clearly coming through. Irrespective he has Jorge jumpy as there is nowhere to hide and is competitive on time with MM a clear track and him and MM and it will be awesome. As someone said it seemed very much like Jorge simply gave up and you can't say that about Rossi (who probably has more incentive to do so). Also there is no guarantee the Jorge will gel with the Honda. Interesting times. Cheers

MotoGP » Rossi tenth, but declares 'anything can happen'

Crashnet, Jorge is a racer of sorts he will if he has to but likes nice orderly races. You could see how he started to get rash last season when he saw MM was prepared to "race" rather than a nice orderly procession. As for Vale this is one circuit what worries me is what he has said about the performance. I agree that with so many close together race craft will be vital and in that department I still rate VA.

MotoGP » Marc Marquez - Q&A

Inside I like that barring the 9 WE etc. So basically barring all Rossi's achievements MM is a far superior rider. As I have said before taking tiger woods as an example and how everyone said he would destroy Nicklaus record like Rossi staying at the top is easy to say harder to do. Rossi looks possibly the happiest I have seen him for some time. Will he trouble MM possibly not but hey 35 v 21. Let's see if MM is second in practice in 14 years time.
