Look I am amazed no one has seen through this. Rossi has already decided to jump ship. By saying things he did, he is putting pressure on Yamaha to prove their talk about how much they love him. He is holding them for ransom - if you pay me a king's ransom and get rid of Jorge I might decide to stay, if not goodbye. It's a ploy to extract more money for retirement as he sees that his reign will not last past one more year if that. Very smart and extremely immoral, but hey who ever said this world is fair...

The Sunday practice is usually simulating race conditions, so how come Lorenzo is way down? Anyhoo if Spies' pace here is anything to go by, we'll get an interesting race with the new boy mixing it up. Hopefully he gets a decent start, is in the top 12 after the first lap and passes a few to come to 8th at the finish. That would be a good result.

We get it, you don't like Stoner because you think he is grumpy. Fine I admit he is not the sunniest personality in front of the cameras. His friends tell that he is very personable off the job. But your personal opinions of his personality surely cannot cloud your perception of reality so much that you would slag a person's talent in his chosen profession based purely on you not liking him. You not liking him doesn't have anything to do with anything. I don't like Rossi's poser behaviour in front of the cameras either, but that doesn't prevent me from acknowledging his brilliance at what he does for a living.

If anything Rossi is chasing Ago's win tally and he IS the one who needs to win as many races as he can. The whole point of racing is winning races, so if you didn't happen to win the championship then you'll win as many races as you can. You think regardless of what Casey does, Yamaha and Honda wouldn't do EVERYTHING in their power to make the best package they can?? Are they simply building bikes to be as good as the next guy's bike or are they building them to win?? Wake up from your delusions...
