F1 » What we learned at the Australian Grand Prix

If you think F1 went too much quiet, here is my advice : enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't take long until a one liter eco boosted (yeah right, not busted as I was tempted to type) turbo will be compulsory, at its turn. And sadly, the story won't stop there even. The future seems to go digital and silent, as far as racing may concern. Like a band of UFO-s landed on the track. Of course, there might be attempts to add some extra sound from acoustic devices (don't shoot) mounted in the cockpits . Sounds terrible, I know, but why would this be more to blame than DRS and alike , after all ? Such dubbing acoustics, coming all out from digital /solid state sources might bring the missing power /decibels maybe, but never the true vibration and the pressure in the air of a real V12 engine. It may be the same when comparing the modern devices digital sounds with the acoustic of an old reel 2 reel. Today, F1 still stands for unsurpassed performance, yet with unparalleled engine sound

F1 » Horner blames FIA for fuel flow issue

CH might well be of good faith ( and I think he really is) but, even so, if one looks at this part of his statement “[The FIA] informed us, but we informed them we had serious concerns over their sensor. " might wonder oneself why didn't RB make an appeal by the testing period. Anyway, they will need other teams to report the issue, preferably non Renault engined.

F1 » Hamilton doesn’t expect straight fight with Rosberg

Keeping the wheels running all ahead, till the checkered flag is what almost all the frontrunners underline for the race, at the moment. And this is valid for all the grid, with or without a race simulation in the bag. Add to that an extra weather challenge (I hasn't checked the forecast) and we may have the pot stirred enough, at least.
