F1 » Dennis: McLaren won’t write off 2014

Healthy judgment from Dennis, be that on a shorter term but also on a longer one. Prodromou & Honda expected to bring fresh air within the team but, until then, Mclaren should still give their 100% commitment, race in and race out, because, frontrunner, midpacker, or even as a backmarker, nobody knows what lies ahead, "down the road".

F1 » Renault shares Horner’s frustration

Someone said it's a silly season, with the winner/s already known, even before midseason. So, nothing spectacular in such PR statement, but I doubt that RB's performance, in their home race, was "under the full potential of the car and PU".That full potential, if that is the case, has yet to be delivered on a regular basis, not judged after one (Canadian) GP only.

WRC » Kubica to re-start in Italy, says rock was hidden

It might not have been easy for anyone, if put in Kubik's place, after such a series of bad luck, therefore I admire him, once he is saying he is heading in the right direction. Let's hope the second half of the season will show he is right. However, he now has to deliver, otherwise he might loose, not only the team support but, also, his self confidence.

MotoGP » Edwards: We f**ked up

Maybe not the fastest guy out there, but, in a way and beside a few others, he did keep the substance in the word WORLD of the motoGP . When he will retire from races (afaik soon), they will have to find another Colin to maintain the symbol, through the years to come, as the Spanish invasion is not predictable to come to an end soon.

WSBK » Melandri slips further from WSBK title fight

88 points, that means one half, but apart from stats, it is fair to say that up-and-downs are a common scenario in SBK, including the front runners, unlike motoGP. So, it may not be such a drama for Marco for failing to score this time. About aiming high, he even can not be seen as over the hill as he is still young enough for that purpose in SBK. Moreover, he may have comparable previous performance (as the Roman Emperor) so he's qualified. The problem is, therefore, not wether he might be over the hill, yet wether his mental hill is still high enough.
