WRC » Ford quits WRC, M-Sport to continue


Ford as Mini/BMW.Its obvious that WRC desperately needs a rabbit out of the hat since VW itself will not be enough to cover the black hole created. Inspite of the fact that signs of such a disaster were foreseeable since 2 or 3 years ago, they (WRC org) failed to prevent such a doomed scenario.And they did so even they already have neighbours confronted with similar problems but who have taken actions. Dorna - CRT springs to my mind first.

MOTOGP » Motegi, Japan Moto2 - Race Results


I already can foresee the battle between Marquez and Lorenzo one year from now on. If Yamaha will not find something magic for the straights during wintertime, it will be a Marquez snorefest for the years to come. Anyway for the first time (except 2010) I will support Jorge all the way !One again next year(s) Casey will be sore missed ! And I dare say even by most of his haters !

While Marco did all he could for his own chances at least as runner up, I can't stop thinking that, in doing such, he also acted as an arbiter between Max and Tom. Even that was differently made in the two races (quite opposite in fact ) at least no one can accuse him of unpatriotic behaviour, intended or not. Anyway all the best wishes from me for Max, Tom, Marco and their teams as well for the next season!

WSBK » Cautious Melandri uncertain of BMW race pace


Just two thoughts : 1. No bluffing here ! He will do as declared. Or at least he will try ! 2.If he will succeed to pull out and keep that chatter under control, he will do it all the way, not only the first 10 laps as some of his competitors. 3. If he will finish first race, will be definitely in the top three and that will give him a lot of confidence for the second race ! Between the top three contenders, he is certainly the weakest regarding moral. He really needs to win this championship! He has the talent, he has the bike, he now needs to breakthrough!I wish him luck! Ohh ! Did I say 2 ?! Well,....:D

In fact, even more long awaited perhaps: Bradl was on a Honda.Maybe it was the case I should have pointed that out somehow differently : a long awaited package-non-spanish rider/non japanese bike.Bradl , whom I am also supporting, had a bike with the same propulsion as all the others.Should I put it the other way around : KTM -Sandro ? Anyway, for me Sandro is not "so called" but German. His rather slow but steady ascension, instead of a latin way of a fast breakthrough is also here to support my view: he was born in Germany, German mother and finally having the job done with a rather German approach.
