F1 » Wolff would be ‘very surprised’ if title isn’t decided in Abu Dhabi

So Toto, you should say: Thanks Bernie, you are the one who was right !, because his double final points move is, probably, the only chance remained to keep some interest alive, to that Yas Marina. Therefore, make sure that no retirement will be due to a technical setback. This is what " I would be very surprised" should mainly stand for.

F1 » Rosberg surprised by gap to Williams

I have yet to find some good reasons to become a fan of him and, most probably, I will never do, but I can recognize he is a rather hard worker and if he will succeed to take the title I will salute him in an almost the same degree as if it will be Lewis the winner. If I were to prefer one of these two, for the 2014 title, probably I will choose Nico, if not for other reason, then for the sake of statistics, as Nico would equal Jacques Villeneuve's performance. Anyway, I wish him good luck in his career and a happy marriage !

F1 » Raikkonen doesn’t need my help – Mattiacci

A run of bad happens, yes, and to many people, but not to all of them. Therefore, when someone says you need to up your game, you'd better try to find out why that guy never had two bad luck back-to-back races, as opposed to your run of bad luck. I like Kimi and I will ever do, but, for some reason, he seems unable to up his game, at the level he was just one year before. It might be the car, or his motivation, or getting older, or rather a mix of all these together. Let's hope, at least, that he will find something "magic", after the holiday, to become again the Flying Finn, he used to be once.

F1 » Williams: Red Bull can be caught

Good to see Claire aiming higher. There is no reason not to do so, after all. But, for that, Williams will have to count on both drivers, not just Bottas most of time, because these two teams are somehow evenly matched: Williams have a stronger package (by now), RedBull -a better pairing. So it is easy, for all, to see how Williams could challenge the Bulls : Massa will have to raise his game, on a constant basis, because the car is already there.

F1 » Alonso praises ‘unbelievable’ Ricciardo

I will not consider the addressed mind games, but salute his tendency to approach the racing filosophy instead, which is normal, after all these years of him being racing against so many competitors. Therefore, kudos to Fernando for praising Ricciardo's skills and behavior in their fine battle ! But if it was Daniel the one who prevailed in that fight eventually, I would have saluted Fernando's gesture, twice as much ! But, who knows, it might happen after the next race :).
