F1 » Vettel cautiously optimistic on closing gap to Mercedes

While I know Vettel as using to see rather the bright side of the story, I don't think he would go as far as to declare non real support based things. I, for one, am ready to wait even longer than SV has demanded from the fans (i.e.- a few weeks). Hope that a time will come, for that extra patience, to be paid off . Sooner rather than later.

MotoGP » Test boost gives Marquez reason for optimism

Marquez was never my idol, as neither was Rossi, but I think they both have every right to do well, from now on, and leave the anger behind, for good. Probably it will not gonna happen too soon (if ever) but how would I love to see the two rivals hugging each other, after a spectacular yet fair battle, as a sign that enough is enough and the hatchet was finally buried. Persisting in anger will make themselves no good, on a long term, and the same will apply to the fans and to all the people involved in GP, as well. Get over it, guys ! Time to move beyond this deadlock and the sooner you will realize that and act consequently, the better you'll be rewarded. And all of us, eventually.

WSBK » Sykes elated by hard-fought victory over Rea

Just two notices : - Tom declared, right after the first race, that he will have to think about what to do on Sunday to avoid being beaten by a whisker again. It appears that it was a fruitful Sunday night. And it didn't imply swerving and weaving, as many accused, yet to always have a proper answer to every pass move of JR. - It was only one race from many on the schedule and it certainly doesn't guarantee Tom further wins, but, as it happened right when JR was over his head to win again, it might be a new beginning for Tom. And another one: this has come up in the early season. As such, we may expect a more confident Tom which can only be good for him, yet also for the sport.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: It's important to remain positive

I have always had a sympathy for Dany but that is different from being his fan. Here are my thoughts : - many are commiserating Dani for his chronic bad luck and, probably, for a good reason. I would only add that, in this matter, his size might have played a role as well - at the age of thirty, normally his best chance to win the big bike one has passed for some time - nevertheless, if, in motoGP, an Oscar might have been awarded for the whole career, Dani would certainly be my proposal.
